Yes, I agree. Most people here seem to form their opinion of what Rush says before he says it.
I’m guilty also. Can’t get Rush here so I used to rely on the Rush thread or on his posts on Facebook.
But from the posts on Facebook which link to his site, I have not heard or read anything to make me hate Rush.
Most of his opinions are conservative and reasonable.
Yeah, I’ve been called an idiot merely for voicing MY opinion and posting a link/proof of the Trump/Soros connection. Looks like the fascist left (pretending to be righties) are alive and thriving here on FR these days. The same fascist left that would remove OUR freedom of speech in a heartbeat, if they could.
Funny, but back in 2008 I remember having ‘incidents’ with some of the same type of name-calling minions. They were all, pretty much in unison, saying that they were going to sit home and not vote for McCain back then. I tried like hell to reason with them, but....much like the avid Trump fans of today, they could not be reasoned with. Coincidence?
Well, probably not. Rush really has lost me lately. Rush really doesn’t take things too seriously. And it shows.

I'm a long time listener to Rush and today feels like Bizzaro world. I admit, I didn't get a chance to listen to all of his show but this is what I caught. First, Rush tries and talk down the dinner he had with these people. I'm like, OK, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but then he goes after Trump for his statements on Sunday with Chuck Todd.
He's trying to say Trump's story about the ear piece is crap and that he purposefully did not denounce David Duke on Sunday for a reason, leaving his audience to speculate. So I thought, Rush wants us to believe his dinner was innocent but we are to think of the worse about Trump for his comments on Sunday, after spending the weekend denouncing David Duke?
Did I miss something about Rush today or was he just being weird?

I got so upset last night over something that happened to me here, I was only able to sleep 9 hours.

I’ve been involved in the immigration fight since the Prop 187 campaign of 1994.
I don’t intend to be harsh but it is quite obvious you have no idea what you are talking about.
Rush refused to get involved for more than a decade despite pleas from many grassroots leaders. And he has been unreliable when he finally would discuss the issue.
I supported him when he had to confess that he was a drug addict and never stopped supporting him until now, it’s like losing a family member.
It is. It really hurt that he didn’t get it today, that he called people “rush hating trolls” for being upset over what he did.
And just now I had another take on it. I pictured the Palm restaurant (well, I pictured the one in LA because it’s the only one I’ve been to). I pictured a big booth with this insane combo of powerful people in it, Ailes, Murdock, Schumer, Limbaugh, and whoever else. And I thought to myself, how sickening that this little bitchy arrogant punk Schumer can officially go around knowing he has these media guys IN HIS POCKET. Fox News, Limbaugh? OWNED. Why couldn’t Limbaugh have had the spine he pretend to have and told these guys to POUND SAND?
Very disappointing day re: Rush.
