Cruz may not be the perfect conservative, but we’d have to probably go back to Coolidge to find one.
I’d still say that Cruz was the “best” conservative this race.
So it goes, most of my lifetime, the “best” conservative running is usually knocked out early.
I still hold out hope that Cooledge was not the last one to reach POTUS.

Very nice endorsement statement, from a good man.

Its funny how some here refuse to comment about the fact Sen. Sessions endorsed Trump and not his companion in the Senate Cruz.
I'm not afraid to comment on it! LOL I predict you will not see another debate with Trump and Cruz on the same stage because Cruz will not have an answer to this from Trump:
"Ted, I can get things done, and done the way I want them done because I know how to work with people and get them to come to an agreement but I still WIN. You were not able to get anything done in the Senate because you CAN'T work well with others. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF YOUR SENATE COLLEAGUES have endorsed you. You have mentioned Senator Jeff Sessions numerous times in this campaign, using him as the standard by which candidates should be measured, especially on the issue of immigration and border security. On this we can agree, Senator Sessions IS indeed the "gold standard", and he just endorsed me. And you still have ZERO Senate endorsements. Why is that? Why is it that not even the most conservative Senators, who know you the best, won't endorse you but are endorsing me?"
GAME OVER.

To your lifestyle perhaps. I don’t recall America having a single cultural identity being so geographically diverse. Maybe your corner of this great land denigrates self starter, highly motivated, self funded, unabashedly confident, type A leaders - mine doesn’t.

Not “drooling”. What is wrong with you?
I put out a suggestion and you say I am drooling?
I said, “Good for Trump” and that is not good enough for you?

I don’t know, but Cruz as majority leader would be wonderful.

Trump would have a cabinet that would finish the “politically correct” Washington beast forever. Can you imagine Palin as Secretary of the Interior? Giuliani as Attorney General? And, as you say, Sessions in charge of Immigration? Wow.

At this point I wouldn’t support Cruz for dog catcher. He’s aligned himself with Glenn Beck who has resorted to calling anyone who disagrees with him a “racist” or a “Nazi” which is right out of the left-wing playbook. Cruz has put on his tinfoil hat and said that Trump’s taxes probably have evidence of his connection with the mob.

So we are clear that you are drooling?
I thought you were slamming me!
(Frankly, still not sure, are you okay with Cruz, as SCOTUS? I think you are saying so, but this darned thing called language comes up....)

Sir....Congress is considered the Senate and the House of Representatives, so “Congressional” is the proper term to use. Nice try...though.

I saw Cruz pleading with Hannity that he understands the deep frustration of voters against GOP Inc politicians, and tried to convince the audience that he’s different.
Honestly, he wasn’t very convincing.

From what I can see from the replies, you did a spot-on job! Lol!
