Meg Whitman, the Hewlett-Packard executive who was a top supporter of Gov. Chris Christies presidential campaign, on Sunday criticized Mr. Christie for supporting Donald J. Trump, assailing him for political opportunism and calling on Mr. Trumps other supporters and donors to walk away from him

Too bad her five year HP turn around plan has fallen flat.
I agree. Her little venture into gubernatorial politics hurt her brand. Still, she is married to the same husband since 1980. She reportedly has a net worth of $2.1 Billion. Forbes says she is the wealthiest woman on California.
Oh, she still has 6 months to fulfill the five year turn around. I don’t think she can pull it off by then. The Obama economy, and her decisions, contribute to the shortage.
Posting restricted until you grow up.
The comment you replied to somewhat irreverently pointed out the hypocrisy of Trump supporters for enthusiastically welcoming the support of the biggest RINO in the GOP, Chris Christie, who they uniformly condemned just a few days before as “GOPe.”
Is it the irreverence you don’t like, or the fact that I dare to point out that Emperor Trump has no clothes, and his supporters are right there with him?
It’s the terms you used. Review your own words and figure it out. And until you do, the mods will review all of your posts until they are assured you have.
No reply is necessary.
I cannot help but note that none of my comments, no matter how innocuous, are being posted. It’s almost like you wanted to silence those few actual conservatives here who oppose Trump...
Well, we’ll see. Tomorrow will probably tell the tale. If Trump eventually turns out to be our nominee, my position could then very well be: all those who would rather let Hillary take the presidency should probably post elsewhere. Not silencing them, but they can post their diatribes on some other forum. RedState would probably be happy to take them on.
I am getting pretty sick of the same couple dozen people continuously posting their anti-Trump bilgewater 24/7 every damned day and stirring up endless flamewars.
This will end. That I promise you.
Bless you Mr. Robinson. Your level headedness is what has kept this site excellent despite the political hardships we have had to endure over the last decade.
And yet, you were thrilled when Christie, et al endorsed the Donald.
I guess their vote matters more than yours does.
And I don’t give a “rats ass” what you or Crispy Cream Christy thinks either.
At least we agree on something.
It is, however, a damned shame that you would consider abandoning conservatives of long standing - those of us who have actually done the hard work of getting conservatives elected and holding their feet to the fire over the past 15+ years, for someone you merely hope is conservative.
Does that mean if (hopefully conservative) Trump is our nominee you’re going to sit it out, vote third party or really shove it to us by voting FOR Hillary?
And or urge others on FR to do any of the above?
Who would be abandoning whom in this scenario?
But HOW is Trump conservative? I do not understand this position.
He was funding the Dems while you and I protested in DC against Porkulus...
He even came out in support of it!

While you and I rallied to support George Bush during that loon’s protest in Crawford, Trump instead was calling for Bush’s impeachment...
He has NO record of conservatism, just a record of changing his mind for opportunistic gain.
I understand people can change, but have you changed THAT much in 6 years, where you would now support liberal economic policies? Of course not! But somehow he has transitioned from liberal policies to conservative ones?
How about on abortion? Has your position on protecting the unborn changed in the last 15 years where you once believed it to be abhorrent but now support partial birth abortion? Of course not! But somehow he has gone from THAT disgusting practice to now being pro-life...
I just do not get the infatuation with Trump, the blind support when he has such a dodgy record.
:)
“Hopefully conservative?” Hope is not something I want to hang my hat on. It is, however, half of a recent campaign message you might recall. How did that work out?
