I am as big of a Cruz supporter as there is here on this site. But you gotta be joking. Sessions is a stooge?!? This is utter nonsense and just plain stupid. Sessions is definitely very conservative and above all else a staunch immigrant reformist and very anti illegal immigration. I am sure this is the main reason he is supporting Trump.
Support whomever you support, but please don't besmirch someone who has stood by what this Republican and most of the rest of us have valued for years. 9 and by the way - that is also why I still support Cruz first. he has also stood strongly for most of what I support. And stood by it to his own detriment) But knocking a stalwart like Sessions, to me is simply very wrong, and very misguided.
That was then, this is now. The lines have been redrawn. Sessions has permanently damaged his own reputation by taking sides with Trumpy. The Donald is far outside the conservatism I've supported since the 60's and Reaganism which has driven the GOP for the last 40 years. Blowing up the GOP will only lead to Billary in the WH.
