Sen. Ted Cruz speculated Sunday that Republican presidential rival Donald Trump might be delaying the release of his tax returns because of possible ties with the mob.
"Maybe it is the case that Donald, there have been multiple media reports about Donald's business dealings with the mob, with the mafia," Cruz said on "Meet the Press."
"Maybe his taxes show those business dealings are a lot more extensive than has been reported," he added.
Cruz repeated the suggestion on ABC's "This Week," seemingly stunning host George Stephanopoulos.
"Business dealings with the mafia?" Stephanopoulos asked, incredulously.

I’d rather believe a solid conservative “career politician” like Ted Cruz, with a proven track record of bucking the establishment whores in DC...and fighting for conservative principles his entire career....
than fall for the lies and fabrications of a narcisstic, egotistical pretenda-Republican that, up until 2011 was an avowed liberal donating to and supporting the same establishment RINOs and leftists that are, as we speak, destroying us from within.
I’m just funny that way.
ditto!
Firs, I've heard that a zillion times only to be stabbed in the back, sorry, it don't fly no more.
Solid conservative eh, when I hear someone who gets up there and promise to slash the behemoth government by 80%, eliminate 80% of the alphabet agency's, get the government out of the health care industry period, return the welfare state to the states, throw the f'n UN and it's third word trash out of the country and get the US out of the UN, push for the elimination of the 16th, and 17th amendments....and I could go on but you get my point.
That, my FRiend, is a REAL CONSERVATIVE.
All of this other glossy rhetoric is just shining my you know whats as far as I'm concerned.

I know it’s the Daily Beast, but some of the people quoted in the article are part of the GOP infrastructure.
Which candidate is promising to do that?
You do know a president cannot eliminate an amendment, right?
Here You go:

L M A O !!!
Perfect!
None of them, that I my point.
You do know a president cannot eliminate an amendment, right?
You're kidding....that is why I wrote a real Conservative would...PUSH FOR IT.
Lower than a snake’s belly.
INCOME - 2015
1. Sold stocks. Made $50,000.00
2. Built and sold new building, made $300,000.00
3. Received pay off from Lucky "Scarface" Corleone, $1,000.000.00
Is that what Cruz says is on Trump's tax return, something that looks like that?
Here they are discussing it and that link might work
It never gets old does it?
Ah, so now we’re going with known leftist media outlets to provide “”proof”” of a conservative’s supposed faults? Why am I not surprised.
You might want to read the part about “”None of those efforts included granting automatic amnesty to undocumented workers””... again. While Trump is for touchback amnesty, which means rounding up 12 million illegals (supposedly) and deporting them, and then allowing ‘the good ones’ back in via amnesty....
what, exactly, is Cruz’s current plan re: that? Do you even know? If you knew would you even care?
Somehow, I doubt it.
I continue to be amazed at the duplicity and sheer willful ignorance of Trump camp followers.
Before even addressing the millions of illegals already here, we first need to stop the flow in and reverse it.

Amen!
Nope...a classic indeed!
WEll, try this:
I know that there’s no way to convince a “believer,” so you just enjoy the ride with Ted. I just hope you wll support the eventual Republican nominee, I will, because every one of the current potential nominees are infinitely better than Hillary.
My apologies, I was not aware it was not the release of his full taxes.
That said, I can understand why he only released what he did, when no one else has released more than that either. And it is only right (and fair) to hold them all to the same standard, so I agree with Cruz’ sentinents below.
The first five years, we released the complete tax returns, Cruz said. The latest four, we released the summary pages really to match what the other competitors have done.
If Marco wants to release the complete things for the recent years Im happy to do so as well, and I would certainly encourage Donald Trump to do it, but we just did it to match what the other candidates are doing, this is a competitive race, Cruz said.
“My apologies, I was not aware it was not the release of his full taxes.”
Not quite as blatant as what I pulled yesterday.
