The difference between your argument and mine is that I’d vote for Cruz if he honestly beats Trump. I’m betting the other side won’t do the same for Trump.
You would be wrong. If Trump wins the nomination, I think - at the least - people will vote for him in the same way people can’t NOT look at an accident on the side of the road as they drive by.
People will want to see what happens.
