Yet Mr. Romney pulled back, instead telling advisers that he would take on Mr. Trump directly.
After a Tuesday night dinner with former campaign aides, during which he expressed a sense of horror at the Republican race, Mr. Romney made a blunt demand Wednesday on Fox News: Mr. Trump must release his tax returns to prove he was not concealing a “bombshell” political vulnerability.
Mr. Trump responded only with casual derision, dismissing Mr. Romney on Twitter as “one of the dumbest and worst candidates in the history of Republican politics.”

Yes, the bottom line is they’re trying to stop the 10,000+ that show up at many of Trump’s speeches. IOW, this is their war on the American people who are fed up with business as usual.
People are sick and tired of the ripoffs, the fake deals, the good old boy politics, the Bush and Clinton dynasties, and they have the MSM in their pocket to tell you to shut up and like it.
....And the same GOP base that is turning against the GOPe folks.
Plus I wonder if he was even (Cruz) allowed to run for the WH because he was born in Canada.

Here in Maine, Gov. LePage is only unpopular with moonbat liberals.
LePage was loyal to Christie because Christie spent both time and money helping LePage get re-elected in 2014.
LePage did not want to endorse someone else when Christie dropped out because Jebbie was still in the race. Some members of the Bush family endorsed LePage for governor in 2014. Barbara Bush even made a few TV commercials singing the praises of LePage. LePage did not want to endorse Jeb, but he also did not want to go against the Bush family because they can him some endorsements during the Maine gubernatorial race in 2014.

They tell us that its “good business” to outsource our manufacturing to developing nations.
They tell us that its “good business” to bring in Third World workers to do our domestic service work.
They tell us that America will be an economy of nothing but highly-educated and skilled Americans doing the kind of work that people from the Third World can’t do.
They raise the price of education until it takes a loan the size of a mortgage (or more) to get that degree.
They make students loans the only kind of debt that can’t be discharged in bankruptcy to protect the lenders.
Then, they bring in H1-Bs to take those jobs because its “good business”.
Now, they tell us that its bad to elect a man who may just burn the whole political house down. They don’t understand that electing Trump is just our final attempt to avoid the need to just shoot the members of the political class.
We should all be concerned at the rise of this fake conservative.
