Okay...it's very simple.

Beer Battered Shrimp:

1 Lb. jumbo shrimp ( I use whatever I want to; just don't get tiny ones)

peanut oil ( I use Crisco vegetable oil )

Beer Batter:

1 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

dash of white pepper

1 egg beaten

1 cup stale beer

Shell and devein the shrimp. Pour an inch or so of oil in a frying pan. Heat to 375 degrees. Dip the shrimp into the batter. Place carefully into the oil. Fry for about 3 minutes non each side. Serve with any sauce you may desire.

With all due respect...what the hell is “stale beer”??????? Who the hekll has it around long enought for it to go “stale”?
