Are you serious? MeGyn “committing an act of journalism” during the first debate???!

Maybe if you read the National Enquirer.

The whole debate process is a joke. They’re insufferable, including Faux News people.

By the way, I usually agree whole-heartedly with your fine posts. I just think you are off on this topic.

This article was just put up on Free Republic, and it describes my position pretty well:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3402647/posts

Nolte speaks from his wife's position as a person who does not like Trump, but is fed up with what she sees as bias and cluelessness by Fox against Trump, making the entire channel appear not just unreliable, but not even worth watching.

I am about where you are.

These days I am reading a lot of history. I’m finding that profitable.

I’d like to see another right of center outlet besides just FOX I wish Steve Bannon would start one

Totally agree there. I've been watching Newsmax TV, ch 223 on DISH, and they are good. Not the 'splash' and all, but good discussion from the contributors. Plus, a lot of the people they have on are more 'regular folks' with some great insights and opinions.

Way back, I was hoping Bannon and Palin would go big time with a FOX alternative.

We have taxation without representation, betrayal by the uniparty, socialist/communist core Federal government with all that entails for our future and now no news outlets on TV. We're down to Talk Radio, Free Republic and a few other conservative websites.

Maybe Trump's family can start a TV network with Bannon and Palin. . conflict of interest? Not after the election.

Journalism is a reporting of documented fact.

It is not exemplified by a debate host. A debate host should ask the same question to each participant. A debate host should not become an additional participant, or act on behalf of a participant or a third party.

I have no problem with Kelly inviting Trump to an interview and asking him about his attitude toward women.

In a debate setting where I’m trying to learn about candidate policy and plans for our nation, that question swerves away from journalism and becomes an active part of a political assassin.

Trying to justify that as part of a basis to defend an open and free press is woefully misguided > IMO.

The problem with FoxNews isn’t that they cover the bad aspects of Trump as they see it. The problem is that they do that to the exclusion of reporting positive things about him.

They have it in for Trump and there’s no denying it.

Fail!

FoxNews at one time was championing our values as well as presenting other views. I had no problem with that.

Lately...

No thanks.

Yes, and it’s sad to see realizing how they got those top ratings in the first place.

We jumped the CNN ship and flocked to FoxNews.

Actuallly, the strange thing is, MSNBC and CNN have moderated. They’re still probably mostly Leftist, but they also seem to be making and effort to present some positive content to Conservatives too.

You can disagree with Conservatism, and still at least conduct a reasoned debate on it. In some instances they are, or even better than that at times.

Oh come on! It’s more than that. No it wasn't. Megan Kelly quoted his words back at him, he admitted at the time on the debate floor that they were accurate, but the vituperation against Megan Kelly commenced immediately. Trump characteristically exploited his Kool-Aid drinkers partisanship by tweeting immediately after the debate.

It was more than that...the tone of her question - her interjecting "there was more than one" as he was answering the question - she was obviously biased, is biased and not being a journalist. She continues to rant about Trump, etc. to this day.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Juan is a Lefty, but he’s a decent Lefty generally. He’s put his Leftist two cents worth in, but is willing to debate on it.

If you have to have a Lefty participant, he’s a good one to have. He’s not vicious.

I stopped watching FoxNews over three years ago.

My comments now reflect reports from others.

It’s not hard to believe the others, because of my own observations of antics that became public, and stuff like Kelly as a debate moderator.

How stupid can a network be, killing the golden goose, the folks who tuned in for “Fair and Balanced” in the first place?

I haven’t watched those shows, but I do hear some interesting comments related to them.

You could be right.
