Ted Cruz went after Donald Trump's repeated praising of the Planned Parenthood abortion business last night during the Republican presidential debate. Cruz essentially said pro-life voters shouldn't support Trump because "he thinks Planned Parenthood is wonderful."
As LifeNews reported, Trump stood firm in his defense of Planned Parenthood's very few services other than abortion during Thursday night's CNN Republican debate...

Cruz for Rubio!
I just changed my tagline. I have been struggling all morning for a way to sum up the amazing SWERVE that Cruz the Great Conswervative has just made to Cabana Boy... and you gave it to me.
Thanks again.
RE: Are you trying to sound like Bill Clinton over the parsing of “is”?
I never used the word — it depends on the word “NOW” is “NOW”.
NOW is not the same as BEFORE. What he said NOW often conflicts with what he said BEFORE.
I am less interested in WHO WINS the elections than WHAT THE TRUTH IS.
Nobody is sacred in my book ( not even my man. Ted Cruz ). The Price of liberty is VIGILANCE.
If someone is wrong or inconsistent, He needs to be taken to task.
Some sources say there were 1-2 million abortions in the 20s.
When Trump said he hated abortion I think he understood it would never be stopped with a law. Culture changed - and part of the change was the willingness to legalize abortion.
Do you honestly think there is any chance to change the culture back to the point it would request abortion be made illegal? I don’t. Sad, but I don’t.
As a lifelong advocate & debater, the diversionary tactic is Debate 1.01 stuff. But I have seldom witnessed a more blatant, obvious, and repeated over the past few years, example.
It’s a stupid statistic. 3% of all services are abortions. Of course, 1/3 of all abortions were performed by PP.
A service is providing a band aid, or aspirin or an abortion.
Let's toss your statement into the "BStrimmer" app and see what comes out...
Input:
"Trump is bifurcating abortion from the rest of womens' health....thereby leaving a bridge to attract cross over voters...which is why his words will help him attract a coalition...Ted just doesn't get the macro strategy that Trump is employing"
>>>>>>>>>>>>
Output:
"Trump is appealing to liberal democrat voters. This makes no sense in a Republican primary."
We all support them by buying their oil. So, there you are. What to do. Rocks and hard places.
Cruz is melting out.
Your fanatical distrust—as opposed to a willingness to wait and see—is not conservative, when it is aimed at a man who clearly loves America, and is risking his fortune to try to preserve our heritage. It is not “conservative,” and your demand that he state his position in your words, rather than his, is not conservative, either.
I am Donald Trump.
Why doesn’t Constitution expert Cruz simply point out that the states have never delegated to the feds expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to tax and spend for anything like Planned Parenthood?
RE: It’s a stupid statistic. 3% of all services are abortions. Of course, 1/3 of all abortions were performed by PP.
Therefore what follows? It is now OK?
The fact of the matter is that 51 percent of Planned Parenthood’s yearly clinic income, their only self-sustaining revenue source, comes from abortion, 329,445 abortions.
As I said before, if someone wants to help PP, HE SHOULD USE HIS OWN DAMNED MONEY. Get the government out of it.
Don’t vote for Ted Cruz - he is not a NBC. In fact, he filed a motion to dismiss the Texas lawsuit regarding his presidential eligibility. He knows he’s not NBC which is why he doesn’t want the case to be heard.
We get it. You can stop saying that now.
Only Cruz has said he would prosecute and defund Planned Parenthood. Trump’s the one who thinks PP does wonderful things and, until recently, supported partial birth abortion. But you believe what you want to believe.
RE: I am Donald Trump.
I didn’t know Trump lives in Georgia ...
Maybe you get it. Others dont. I am getting replies from people who downplay the importance of the Great Swerve to the Gang of 8 by the Great Conswervative Ted Cruz.
I think it is the biggest event in this campaign to date.
RE: He knows he’s not NBC which is why he doesn’t want the case to be heard.
Illinois and New Hampshire have BOTH already declared him to be eligible,
The reason why he filed a motion to dismiss is pretty obvious — He does not want this to distract from his campaign, not because he thinks he’s not NBC.
I’m sure Trump does not want the Trump University fraud case to distract from his campaign either.
There will be no change wrt abortions regardless of whether Cruz or Trump is president.
The real important issue of this campaign is saving this country and our rights.
Trump was the first guy (and essentially the only guy) to address this issue and it’s why people are flocking to him more and more each day. IF Ted Cruz or Rand Paul had done that, then maybe they would be the front runner right now. But they didn’t.
“Trump is appealing to liberal democrat voters. This makes no sense in a Republican primary.”
Does the phrase “Reagan Democrat” ring a bell?
