Ted Cruz went after Donald Trump's repeated praising of the Planned Parenthood abortion business last night during the Republican presidential debate. Cruz essentially said pro-life voters shouldn't support Trump because "he thinks Planned Parenthood is wonderful."

I fear you may be right. As I still respect Cruz's clear understanding of actual issues, I pray that we are wrong. That he will wake up, and abandon tactics that will brand him as a "hypocrite," for bearing false witness by innuendo, if not stopped.

We really need to pray that Cruz sees the light, and abandon tactics totally unworthy of a man with his understanding.

Let’s modify that:

Trump NOW says he would defund Planned Parenthood over abortion.

What does “over abortion” mean?

That he will continue to use tax dollars to fund PP abortion excluded?

Why not totally defund PP REGARDLESS of what they do and let it go private? Why is it the role of the Federal government to fund this group over others?

He said many things today that were in contradiction to the things he said in the past.

It’s very hard to determine whether or not he believes what he says TODAY or if he is saying what he said TODAY out of convenience.

My personal policy is to TRUST BUT VERIFY. BE VIGILANT.

I agree that part of the problem is a sick culture. A large part of this sickness is the loss of the sanctity of life. Sanctioning the killing of the unborn seriously increases this sickness.

Making murder illegal does not stop murder. Making it legal would increase it and effective sanction it for the culture.

The name “Planned Parenthood” is about “planning” families by providing abortions and birth control. That is their main mission. Everything else they do is a fig leaf to cover their main purpose.

Its leaders are rabid pro abortionists who think nothing about selling baby parts.

How can anyone who pretends to be anti-abortion even think of supporting an organization with such a pedigree.
