Ted Cruz went after Donald Trump's repeated praising of the Planned Parenthood abortion business last night during the Republican presidential debate. Cruz essentially said pro-life voters shouldn't support Trump because "he thinks Planned Parenthood is wonderful."
As LifeNews reported, Trump stood firm in his defense of Planned Parenthood's very few services other than abortion during Thursday night's CNN Republican debate...

If Cruz is the wonderful pro life champion you say he is, why don’t I remember him doing anything of substance to stop the budget which fully funds Planned Parenthood last year? Trump was not in a position do anything about it. Cruz was. I do remember that Cruz enhanced his “principle conservative” GOPe cred by endorsing Rubio last night.
You are leaving out the contacts. He would endorse Rubio to prevent the man who wants to give us weaponized amnesty. We might be able to push back on someone like Rubio like we did with Bush. But Trump and Corey Lewandowski are going to give us weaponized amnesty.
Hint: Gang of 8, now supported by the Great Conswervative, Ted Cruz.
Cruz attacked Rubio on the Gang of 8 last night, so that hasn’t changed. Just because he thinks Rubio would be a better president than Trump doesn’t mean Cruz suddenly supports the Gang of 8 bill - it just means that Trump has proven himself to be so unstable and unqualified to be president that even Rubio is a better choice - a sentiment with which I highly agree.
Cruz is going full establishment GOPe.
I wonder if Ted practices speaking in front of a mirror, admiring his ability to sway people with his intellect...
Sorry Ted, we know a bald-faced lie when we see one...And we've seen many from Ted...
Ted just lost his SCOTUS nomination.
I am NOT a supporter of Cruz but any of the four remaining candidates are better than Trump.
>>To be fair Trump has always hated abortion.
He supported what he hated then. Including late-term, partial birth, all of it.
Yeah because they have so much more executive and economic and management experience then he has, right?-)
Yes and because they have create more than the thousands of jobs he has created and people he has put to work.
And also didn’t Donald give obama everything including FUNDING for Obamacare and Planned Parent!
Who FUNDED Planned Parenthood for obama? It sure as hell wasn’t DT!
And you people complain Trump will work with Dems?
So you have gone 100% Establishment, Cheap-Labor-Express.
You have become what Free Republic hates.
Congrats.
Women LOVE the fact that PP donates huge sums of money to far left candidates that will keep their baby organ harvesting business in business? Women LOVE it when PP advocates for and teaches children as young as Kindergarten about human sexuality and that it's ok to have two daddies (or two mommies)? Women LOVE PP when they go to high school and educate young women about their options when it comes to pregnancy so they don't have to take responsibility for their actions?
Support your candidate but don't lie about him.
Trump was not making self-serving points on acknowledging that "Planned Parenthood" has done some good for women--he was certainly not suggesting that they were "wonderful,"--he was merely giving the "devil his due," as the saying goes. He explicitly vowed to defund them over abortion.
Ted needs to stop following Rubio into verbal gamesmanship, intended to mislead over Trump. He risks--and it is a real risk among those who take their theological imperatives as seriously as Cruz has in the past--being dismissed as a "hypocrite." It would be a terrible betrayal of his own very fine record in Congress, and future potential, to continue to bear false witness by taking other people's words out of context, in order to mislead as to their intentions.
He supported choice but hated abortion.
Abortions will never be stopped. Making them illegal won’t stop them from happening any more than the speed limit stops people from speeding. Even apostle Paul understood the law doesn’t contain the power to live it.
And a co-author of the anti-America North America Union which eliminates the national borders of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico...
Sure, let's vote for Ted and we can ride the Constitution all the way to a New World Order...
As long as it benefits him then it is all right.
RE: Trump has said nothing about funding them
So, will Trump sign a law to defund them if he is elected?
That’s my personal bottom line. I want to hear his say “YES” I will defund PP regardless of the “good” things they do.
If you listened to the debate, you should remember that Trump said he would defund Planned Parenthood over abortion.
A quick scan of the morning’s threads have me convinced the Cruzers are in full blown panic mode. I love it! :-D
>>He supported choice but hated abortion.
He supported choosing abortion but hated abortion.
I’m sorry, supporting Trump requires too much twisting of values.
