Friday, February 26, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Fort Worth, TX at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm (CST).

That’s true, but maybe he is saving that for another time. There’s another debate on Fox in about a week.
Whether by design or by accident, I think it played out great. Giving Rubio room to accuse showed what he does with free rein. He was grinning like a adolescent delivering one taunt after another. Any rebuttal would have wiped the smirk off his face, and I think it benefits Trump, to allow Rubio to "show his smirk while throwing accusation after accusation."

Strange to see Trump continue with the general attacks on Rubio when he is leading with his chin on the Gang of 8/immigration issue.

The decorum of the debate was set by Wolf Blitzer.
Trump will gain nothing from these in the future if he runs the table in the SEC votings.
And it’s smart to get all this crap out there now, so it’s old news by the time Hillary gets to dredge it up again. I suspect the TU civil suit will be settled as soon as Trump and his lawyers feel they’ve negotiated the best deal. Despite what The Wife is convinced will be the Trial of the Century, Trump will write the check before he ever appears on a witness stand.
I suspect last night’s audience was very small. Not only because most people don’t like politics but the nature of it would cause a lot of people to reach for the remote. So all of ole Marco and Teddy’s yapping went unnoticed. And the thing most people hate worse than watching political debates is listening to talking heads on TV tell them what happened at one.

At some point, it is likely that Rubio will respond to the general taunts with something like "he's just name calling," and then Trump will point out the policy issues. I think the immediate mission is to preoccupy Rubio, get his attention, get the battle "in the news," and that takes time. Rubio is going to use his new argument, that he knew Gang-of-8 was doomed, and that he has always been opposed to it. Some people will buy that, but at least he will look like a flip-flopper, if not an outright liar about his immigration position.

He then said that the reason that no one went after Trump before last night (!) was because they didn’t want to alienate Trump’s supporters once Trump (supposedly) fizzles out.

Maybe I’m just thinking of myself, but I tend to think that Trump’s supporters are the very definition of “broken glass” supporters. If Trump isn’t the candidate, I would not vote for Cruz or Rubio under any circumstances. I can’t believe he doesn’t know that.
Now he’s moved on to calling Trump “shallow” and praising Rubio. Sheesh.
Was just guessing who was in Texas. Some don’t like Joel and his wife, so probably better he doesn’t have their endorsement. Now, Franklin Graham’s is another thing.

The sign stealers have stopped at the Early Voting Site.Two days ago, one was stolen while I was talking to a Candidate.
Also, the sole Carson sign was stolen, so I replaced that one, even though I am 4 Trump.
This am, I took Hot Donuts to the Election Judges & also to the Stumpers in the Parking Lot.
Since no good deed goes unpunished, I am expecting a bag of flaming dog poop on my front porch later.

I wonder if the presidential race will factor in. From remarks by one of the CNN commentators last night (cut off before he could deliver the facts), the case was brought for revenge, and lacks merit. Trump is better off arguing the case vigorously. I do agree with you that Trump won't have to take the witness stand. I don't think he has to even if the case goes to trial. Whatever misrepresentations are alleged, exist through written materials and representations by other people. There is no issue of fact that depends on Trump taking the stand, to get the evidence before the jury.
