Marine veteran banned from his daughter's school after objecting to Islam lesson and now looks set to miss her graduation
A Marine veteran who was barred from his daughter's school after objecting to a lesson about Islam wants the ban overturned in time to attend her graduation.
John Wood and his wife Melissa have filed a civil rights complaint against La Plata High School in Maryland, claiming the district forced their 16-year-old daughter to take classes that promote Islam over Christianity and Judaism.
The lawsuit also says Wood was barred from the school after complaining about the curriculum.
Wood now wants to be allowed back on the grounds to attend his daughter's graduation as she is in her last semester of high school.

Well, I’m sure once the ACLU finds out the school has been teaching lessons about religion - in this case, Islam, they’ll be all over this.
She is in her last semester. Ready to graduate in a couple more months. After that she should spend some more time at the range.
The Indoctrination continues, this is what the left does, denounces Christianity and Judaism and only teaches students to love Islam, then they go to college and learn that Capitalism is horrible, this is the kind of garbage they do in North Korea, horrible that this is what is being taught in America

You are correct, this crap must end. Our best bet is a Trump/Cruz administration with as many RINOs sent packing as possible. When Trump takes office I plan to write him every time I see crap like this. We all need to do this. You could write the current jerk in the White aHouse now but we all know whose side he is on. So save your pen and paper for next year and get out and vote.

And when the kids merely recite that one little muslim prayer (shadada?) that makes the kids bonafide muslims.

We home school. Here’s another reason why.
I do not comprehend how not one bible passage can be mentioned within 500 feet of a public school but they will openly endorse Islam in any classroom. It reveals that there is an agenda in education and, I agree that it needs to be stopped. They appear to be motivated by this multi-cultural garbage but I see that there is a more sinister force behind it. Mine are home schooled. I aim to keep it that way. But I feel for parents who have so few options. How about a new loud call for separation of Mosk and State to be codified in 50 state constitutions. I bet that would flatten their feathers.
I don’t remember having any indoctrination in ANY religion back when I was in school! 1952-1964. There was a morning prayer, if the teacher was a woman, and pledge of allegiance, that was all.
What is with this islam trash now being taught!
That this had to come to us from a British source is bad enough...
Time to clear not only Washington politics, but get rid of the US Dept. of Education...Give the schools back to the states....
