Actually Kasich whom I don’t support at all is right. This should never have been fought out in public. It could have been resolved without a court order. Moreover, Apple has helped the government over 70 times before. No doubt this case is different, probably because the FBI demanded more than it should have. This was supposed to be a test case for the government. Wrong battle, wrong time.

The reason Kasich’s answer was the best is because Apple wanted to find a solution out of the public eye. It was the FBI who went public with this.

I did not know that. Was there a way for Apple to give the FBI what they needed without giving them the "combination to the safe" as others have described the FBI demands?
