Constitution, Declaration of Independence ... whatever.
That seemed to be Hillary Clintonâs take on the nationâs two most important documents during an interview Wednesday, as she confused the texts in making the case for more gun laws.
The Democratic presidential front-runner mistakenly cited a âconstitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happinessâ during the interview with host Steve Harvey.
âWeâve got to say to the gun lobby, you know what, there is a constitutional right for people to own guns, but thereâs also a constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that enables us to have a safe country where we are able to protect our children and others from this senseless gun violence,â she said.
Harvey offered her an approving âabsolutely.â

“Constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”
Hey PIAPS, those are God-given rights, you stinking Pinko!
At this point. What difference does it make?
What’s the big deal? One “flawed and outdated document” is like the other.
Another right wing conspiracy to embarrass the Queen!
The Declaration was written in 1776, the Constitution in 1788.
At this point, what difference does it make?
I am more concerned that Hitlery believes that my right to own a gun infringes on others right to life. This is absolute nonsense and stupidity. I mean, next thing you know Hillary will say your right to an abortion infringes on another's right to life.
No surprise the corrupt leftist is not familiar with the Founding documents. She is very familiar with Alinsky, however.
Did Hillary ask Harvey to name her Miss Universe??????
And there you have it, as interpreted by “smartest woman in the world”.
Just like her husband...Of course, dems get a pass.
“Last time I checked, the Constitution said, “of the people, by the people and for the people.”
That’s what the Declaration of Independence says.”
Wrong...That’s what the Gettysburg address says.
HRC cannot be happy as long as conservatives have guns. Cool. All I have to do is own a gun! I don’t have to do anything at all with it. And that makes Hillary unhappy (sad face here). I’m good with that. In fact, it makes me happy (happy face here).
How much does a vampire know about a cross? Not much because
if he touches it he will burst into flames.
Same goes for the beast and the Constitution.
And undoubtedly more and more with the quran.
“Just like her husband...Of course, dems get a pass.”
Of course they get a pass. That’s the only way they can get anywhere.
However, if they ever misquoted the Communist Manifesto,
Saul Alinsky or Cloward Piven you’d here about it. All the
constitution is to this woman, is an impediment and that’s all.
Nothing else.
She’s just offering us the fruits of her legal scholarship. Most of us are unfamiliar with the parts of the Constitution that say “from each according to his ability to each according to his need,” and “do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.” Anyone who doubts this should check with that world-renowned Constitutional scholar and lecturer Barack Hussein 0bama.
F’n moron!
Obama’s understanding of the founding documents is similar to his pal Bill Ayres.
“constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”
Pedantic quibbles aside, that’s exactly what the Second Amendment is for: protecting life by giving potential victims the power to return threats, protecting liberty by giving potential oppressees the power to return threats, and do so with the happiness that protection brings.
