ERBIL, Iraq (Reuters) - A Swedish teenager rescued from Islamic State militants in Iraq has said life in the so-called caliphate was "really hard" and that she was duped into going there by her boyfriend.
In her first interview since Kurdish special forces recovered her in northern Iraq, the 16-year old told a Kurdish TV channel she had met her boyfriend in mid-2014 after dropping out of school in Sweden.
"First we were good but then he started to look at ISIS videos and speak about them and stuff like that," she told Kurdistan 24 in a brief interview, using another name for the Islamic State group.

She was an unwed pregnant teen running away from her foster parents. She lives close to a large refugee center, so she knew about ISIS. She identified with her boyfriend's dreams and followed. She was rescued once before at the request of the Swedish government, but escaped back to her boyfriend. Her boyfriend got killed, so she called her foster mom to be rescued again. There is nothing innocent in what she has done. She is at the beck and call of the highest bidder.
In other articles it appears that she had been rescued once before, and then ran back to her boyfriend. After he got killed she contacted her foster parents and another rescue was arranged.
She needs to be tried as an adult for terrorism.
If she is speaking the truth, she didn’t join Isis for ideological beliefs. She was simply stupid. I know a lot of teens, and I am sorry to report, many adults who are still clueless about Isis and terrorism. Just consider the caliber of intellects on display whenever Jay Leno would do his Jaywalking segments where college students (the supposed cream of the crop of our young people) would be asked basic historical and current affairs questions.
Sometimes girls are duped and the parents don’t know the entire story and the sneaky ways young daughters “in love” may behave/deceive, when directed by muslime liars.

Was a win, the daughter of a FReeper was saved.
ISIS life is hard?
Well, Duuuhhh!
It’s true, it’s true. I don’t usually go the route of blaming parents, but I guess I didn’t know what else to say. It’s heartbreaking.
How many Kurds died or were injured to rescue this twit. Let her rot!
Indeed. Agree.
Husker don’t!
Wonder how they got the UK to refuse her daughter entry ? “the UK” know her online boy toy was a terrorist ??
