For the life of me, I don’t see the appeal of Rubio.

He's the establishment boy! He'll "reach across the aisle" and "work with the democrats" and "find common ground", ie., take in the backside and give them everything they want.

He's handsome, and he uses good diction when presenting his lies to the public.

I don't think it's happening for Rubio. The establishment is pushing him but he's not catching fire anywhere. His rise in the polls can be explained by Jebbie Bush and other conventional candidates dropping out. Trump, Cruz and to an extent Carson, are sharing the anti-establishment vote.

Regardless of how well Cruz does on Tuesday, I don't think he has the national appeal to overtake Trump. As a Trump supporter, I don't begrudge Cruz taking his home state of Texas. Trump will still get his share of delegates as it's a proportional state (all of them on Super Tuesday are).

I think it must be his effeminate, harmless (ball-less) nature and that he doesn't offend anyone. Same as Kaisich, if they thought he could win.

It's a mystery to me too. It seems like every few years, party higher-ups (in both parties) designate some young political upstart as their Golden Boy. The decision is completely arbitrary, because the Golden Boys certainly aren't distinguished by any actual achievements. Certainly Rubio has none to speak of, unless you want to call being Chuck Schumer's busom friend on amnesty for illegals an "accomplishment."
