I agree with that.
I never said I wouldn’t vote for Cruz, and I don’t recall seeing any Trump folks say that.
I may have gotten angry and said it a couple of times, but I was sure pushed a long time before doing it. I don’t recall if I actually did say it or not.
At any rate, I felt that even though Trump was a cad on issues, he didn’t try to mislead me. He came straight at me, didn’t deny anything and told me exactly what he wanted to do.
At any rate, you probably said it better, I’m tired.
I appreciate the comments.
I’ll admit that I said it after being pummeled by a Cruz supporter. He called me a ‘disgusting b*tch’.
I’m glad that my resolve won’t have to be tested on this one.
My main issue with Cruz is that the man lacked wisdom. He demonstrated that nicely during the filibuster.
Who got hurt? Government contractors - much of them military. The media spun it that the ‘mean ol’ Republicans’ don’t care of these people lose their homes or can feed their families.
Cruz produced nothing but bad press for the Republican brand and mostly hurt the conservative military people.
No wisdom.
He pulled Beck into the limelight. No wisdom.
I chose to not give Cruz my support because I didn’t believe that he would be an effective leader. He’d be a lame-duck president from day one.
He’s the captain who’d honorably go down with the ship... but he’ll drag us down with him.
I want an effective leader on my side. I want a builder of walls, not a president that thinks that *he* is the wall.
