Ted Cruz has a double-digit lead over Donald Trump in Texas, according to the results of a new poll of likely Republican primary voters released Wednesday by Houston Public Media and the University of Houston Hobby Center for Public Policy.
The Texas senator has 35 percent of likely Republican primary voters in the state, followed by Trump's 20 percent. All other candidates are in single digits...

As for me, personally, it’s more kind of suspicious fear.
When you compare Cruz X Obama and find that both claim to be Constitutional scholars. Both have questionable birth circumstances, Neither will put up the paperwork to clear the muddle. Both are lacking real-world experience as workers or doing payrolls with all the attendant hassle.
Both have/had wives who, in furthering the interest of attaining residence in the White House, attained very-well paying jobs to that end.
Both have had very weird influential friends, Beck and what’s his name???
Seems to me that we’ve been there, done this gig once. Don’t care for a do-over.
Yeah, I’m dubious that Cruz is the one for the job but I don’t HATE him.
I see your point, but I would say that a man who has demonstrated this kind of life in his most sacred commitments, shouldn’t have a problem screwing over the American people.
God says He honors those who honor Him. Mr. Trump, from his fruits, has rarely honored God in the important areas of life.
If you think that keeps him from being a viable president (I don’t) go ahead and vote your pleasure.
But I never asked you to jump on the winning bandwagon, either.
His marriages look strangely like marriages of convenience. None of them have broken up in rancor.
And remember, that holds for Cruz as well, and he is not doing that wonderfully in taking the bushel basket off from over his light. It is not a matter of absolute behavior or achievement, it is a matter of what you did with your resources. Trump was gifted less.

So very sorry, Tuffy. I read it wrong. Yes, my post should have been addressed to that GodGunsGuts guy. My bad, and my apologies. I’ll try again, only this time to the right person. Actually I’ve gotten zapped a couple of times lately by others posting to me wrongly about the same thing, thinking I was anti-Trump, although I’m the exact opposite. Maybe we all need more sleep (or better eyesight).

Hmmm, you haven’t said peep about the 11 other States that are voting on Super Tuesday, most, if not all that will be won by Trump. Methinks Trump will be kicking your butt, period. Let’s wager on who is going to win the Super Tuesday States in their totality. Wanna take that bet? Wanna bet on how badly you will lose?

Most of the older folks I know and the guys in my Guard unit tend to be for Cruz. Most of the younger people I know are idiots who can’t tell me why they like Bernie. I know a few who were half-interested in Trump, but they tend to be the least politically inclined.
