As much as I like Sarah Palin, I think there would be too many distractions, and a ticket with two former reality show stars (in spite of their other accomplishments) is just a little too much.

The columnist suggests Nikki Haley, and it makes sense in may ways.

Palin is “damaged goods”.....what the media hasn’t been able to accomplish, she’s wrapped up with her own (and the kids’) foibles.

after the way she screeched when she first gave her endorsement? - no thanks

I could be talked into Carson.....he'd be the "walk Softly" part of the political envoy.

I do wish though, Trump would think before he talks sometimes....some of the stuff coming out of his mouth is unfitting

What a great photo to caption!

“Hmmm....I’m thinkin’ about it!”

But I don’t think she’s the right choice as much as I like her.

Bear in mind, the VP doesn’t make policy or set the direction, he basically does what the President tell him to do. That’s why I like Kasich, who would bring a lot of state/federal/private executive experience, and who would bridge the gap personality-wise to many voters. He’s done a good job in Ohio and own by a landslide, and that is an important swing state.

“It’s not personal, it’s business”

He can put Sarah Palin in charge of the Dep’t of Energy and give her a big axe to start cutting out waste and dead wood!

Not Palin. She hitched her wagon to McCain.

I think there was a SMALL chance Trump might have picked Palin as his VP

If he felt her support had helped him win Iowa and if he were having trouble winning over old Tea Party supporters that he felt he needed in the general.

But, she didn’t help him win Iowa, and he is getting all the conservative support he needs without opening that can of worms.

My guess is he picks a fellow business man with high name recognition.

I, too, think that Palin's window of opportunity has passed, not that she's damaged per se, but more like always a bridesmaid but never the bride. That said, I do think there is still a place for her in a Cabinet position.

How long has it been since Palin has said a word about Trump?

You really think she’d run for the second spot again? I don’t think so. Too many comparisons with McCain and I doubt Palin would want the second spot again.
