With God As My Witness, I Will Never Vote For Donald Trump (GOPe)
Independent Journal Opinion ^ | Feb 24, 2016 | Rick Wilson

Posted on 02/24/2016 7:58:33 AM PST by C19fan

Many on the right have come forward in the past few days to outline why they will never vote for Trump, and their reasons are articulate, principled, eloquent, and moving. If it wasn’t already abundantly clear from the last eight months, let me join the chorus; I will never vote for Donald Trump.

Never.

No one cares what you do, Rick Wilson.

News flash: It is not just “GOPe” types who cannot stand Trump. There are a lot of us social and constitutional conservatives who cannot stand him, either. In fact, most of America cannot stand the guy. He has the highest unfavorable on record.

I can’t believe anyone would want Bernie Sanders or Hillary likely appointing 4 Supreme Court justices.

“Kinda like, we don’t like big gobmint, unless it’s OUR big gubmint. The hypocrisy of the GOPe knows no bounds.”

Exactly!!! Except it’s NOT “kinda like”, but rather, “It IS like”... “Hypocrite” is just the tip of the iceberg.

The strains of Gotterdammerung waft over the country club bar. I suppose we’ll get Siegfried’s funeral music when Cruz tosses his sword to the banker in the lake.

“From a policy perspective there is no difference between Trump and those two.”

Bernie & Hillary are all for deporting illegal aliens, keeping the 2nd Amendment, temporary ban on muslim immigrants, cutting taxes and so on. /s

How many times has the GOPe told us to hold our noses and vote when their candidate comes out on top of the primary process.

But judging from what a lot of folks here said, they did not vote for Romney. Turnout was down, right? And it seems at least half the folks here not only won't vote for a "GOP-E" for President, but actually want "GOP-E" Senators to lose in the general election.

Anyway, I've read more times than I can count that the goal of this election is to "destroy the 'GOP-E'.". Well, do you really expect them to cooperate in their own destruction?

My opinion: Trump is a terrible candidate. He will make a terrible president, will contribute to the slow decline of the USA and will also mark the destruction of the entire Republican Party.

HOWEVER, he’ll face Hillary and Hillary is far and away more dangerous to the country then Trump who will build no machine, will end up doing nothing, and will leave no legacy. Hillary will truly destroy the country, finishing what Obama is doing. So, any conservative who refuses to vote for Trump is voting for Hillary (even if they stay home or vote third party) and that makes them complicit with the destruction of the nation.

What we are facing is a horrible choice in Trump versus a flat out dangerous choice in Hitlery. In that case, horrible is a better vote than dangerous.

Sometimes we vote FOR. Sometimes we vote AGAINST. Not voting AGAINST is voting FOR.

There were tons of Cruz people screaming bloody murder on FR if you even hinted at not voting for him in the fall.

Now they are happily pitching a fit and crowing how they wont vote for Trump.

I always suspected that most of the establishment guys would rather vote for the democrat than anybody that might actually change the republican party.

But I’ll sure vote for him if Hillary is a threat to spend the next four to eight years in the White House.

Washington needs a wrecking ball. The beltway insiders can rot.

Breathlessly we have been waiting for one Rick Wilson to come forth, and wax eloquently.

This paragon of virtue finally issues his opus over flowing with intellectual depth, exemplifying his case of critical “butt hurt”, in its final stages.

“.The fact that they would rather have Bernie or Hillary is VERY telling.”

Yes, they’re so much more mature, polite and civil than anyone who would vote for Trump. However, they’re also kidding themselves because people like that usually have something to hide and so they have to maintain the mere appearance of maturity, politeness and civility.

This is good. We must realign the system, before our nation disappears. Those who want to end America are a minority, but they dominate both "major" parties. They are very skilled at setting their preferred narratives of "red" vs. "blue" and "conservative" vs. "liberal", but they always seem to come up with a globalist/transnationalist to play the game for either team.

I've said repeatedly, only half-kidding, that I would vote for Bernie Sanders before I would vote for Marco Rubio.

Bernie has a screw loose, all right, but he is concerned about what happens, what is happening, to Americans. Marco could care less about Americans, as such, as long as globalization gets the military support it needs from us.

The Trumpnado is revolutionary. The Uniparty won't go down without a fight.

I haven't had this much fun since 1968.

We have been told time and again, to “trust us” and work within the system instead of outside. Funny how now, the GOPe are the one threatening to take their ball and go home. And with this being arguably the most critical election in all of our lifetimes. If they follow through with the threat, mark my words, the Republican Party will be finished as a viable entity. We are done.
