Slimy, liar, sleazy are not equivalent to you calling freepers brownshirts. Someone who lies is by definition a liar. Same with other terms. I don’t think anyone here meets the definition of Brownshirt.

Probably not yet for most people. However what did the Brownshirts do? They idolized the man and attacked anyone who dared to speak out against Hitler or any part of his Socialist Party.
When the liberals behave as some Trump supporters do, there are many here who call them brownshirts and are supported.
Trumps talking about expanding use of the Executive Branch even beyond what Obama has done. Any who dare to speak out against Trump are viciously attacked.
So its not a big step from where things are today to the Brownshirts of the 1930s and 1940s.
