I posted yesterday that the Cruz folk gave us possibly the ugliest day I have seen in my 14 1/2 years on Free Republic.

Having voted for Cruz in Texas, I can honestly say (and have often) that the Cruz campaign we see now has been hijacked by the nastiest operatives on the planet.
This Cruz I see on the national stage is NOT the Cruz I voted for.
Cruz has surrounded himself with people who have set a nasty and spiteful tone and it’s showing downline with the grassroot supporters. It isn’t helping him. At all.
