Colonoscopies are needed.
I wasn’t polyps free. I’ve had them removed twice.
Reagan had that problem.
I may not like the procedure, but then I’m thinking I’d not like the outcome of not having it more.
“I wasnât polyps free. Iâve had them removed twice.”
They find polyps evertime I have one. First time I had one of those sigmoidoscopy thingies. Had to redo the prep procedure and go back the next week for a colonoscopy. I make damn sure I only have to do the prep once each time now.
Colonoscopy saved my life. I had polyps. I have another polyp being removed on the March 10th.
I do not have a family history, but I had an illness back in the 80’s,
They removed 10 small polyps in November. Biopsy done and so far no cancer.
Get it done people. The prep is the worst part, but it is worth it.
Ditto me that....but last July the doc found an unusually shaped one that he couldn't snag; he didn't like the looks of it, so suggested I have it surgically removed.
Bottom line was after the surgeon yanked a foot of large intestine (which is standard procedure) he saw some diverticulosis in the neighborhood so he proceeded to yank another large section. The only good part is that everything was benign.
Five days in the hospital, and I'm a really sh*tty patient. I'm gonna think hard and fast about doing another colonoscopy.
