What people and especially women don’t realize is that the sexual revolution applies to men too.
Before the sexual revolution men would have been “programmed by society” to be good providers and the breadwinners. At least that was the mantra. Probably not perfect but it was the societal standard and at least there was a standard. Now there is nothing.
It is same “misogynistic” culture that states that men and women should not have sex before marriage.
After the sexual revolution, men are taught that women are sexual objects and the more partners, the better and with no commitment whatsoever.
Men are also taught, just like women, that if the marriage gets too tough — just split — and men are also taught that it is perfectly fine for the husband/father to hang around the house and not work (provide) and the wife/mother be the provider. RE: loser bums.
Ironically, this is the most frequent complaint that I hear from my wife’s friends — that there are few men anymore who are willing to “provide for their families” and that the women end up being the breadwinners. It is very frustrating for them. WELL, WELCOME TO WOMEN’S LIB LADIES.
