Donald Trump is the favorite to win Tuesday's Nevada GOP caucuses, an outcome that would give him victories in three of the four early-voting states.
According to The POLITICO Caucus - a collection of strategists, operatives and activists on the ground in Nevada - Trump is poised to defeat Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio on Tuesday night, despite relatively little attention on the caucuses compared to the three previous states.
Roughly three-quarters of Nevada insiders from both parties predicted Trump will emerge on top, with Cruz and Rubio - who finished behind Trump last Saturday in South Carolina - splitting the remaining vote.
Insiders said Trump's bluster and flamboyance line up well with the Nevada ethos.
"Nevada has always been perfect for Trump," said one Republican there. "He is a flashy billionaire with ties to gaming. That might have slowed him down in Iowa, but in Nevada it will be embraced and celebrated. It was always his to lose, and he won't."
"He has the momentum, he has his name on a gilded tower just off the Las Vegas Strip," added a Nevada Democrat, who, like all insiders, completed the survey anonymously. "Folks will mention he has no ground game, but he had no ground game in any of the states he's won."

Gee, maybe people like his ideas!
It will be another fight for 2nd.
Rubio has the 2nd place momentum. Cruz now suffers from a downward drag after SC.
Logically, with Cruz in decline, you'd think Nevada voters are deciding Trump the generous employer vs Rubio with family ties and a shared story with many voters.
Trump is the dream they aspire to. Rubio is the reality that one of their own has reached. Cruz is the guy who is tagged as a liar by both of them.
JMHO
The Cruz campaign is taking on water, and the recent firing won’t stop it.
If he wins, and wins big in NV, Trump will go into Super Tuesday with huge momentum. Look for the polls in the Super Tuesday states taken after today to show him leading by large margins in 12 or 13 of the states.
If Cruz and Rubio don’t win at least 2 or 3 states each on Super Tuesday, their donations will drop significantly, and their voters will start voting for the person actually winning contests instead of voting for the guys who are always fighting over 2nd and 3rd place.
You don’t have to be an ‘insider’ to forecast a Trump victory.
It would have been more satisfying if Mr. Trump flipped the RNC/GOPe the finger and went independent from the beginning. But, it is what it is.
Lots of Mormons in the sin industry in Vegas. We will see if Beck can deliver them to Cruz.
Vy high energy.
Some people here need to reject”suspension of disbelief”
Mormons deliver Nevada?
Beck has king maker status?
Rubio getting more GOPe endorsements by the day will carry him to the convention?
Come on guys
Made me flash on one of the many wills Howard Hughes supposedly left. Hughes owned vast tracts of land in Nevada, several Vegas casinos, hotels, restaurant chains, the movie industry ...not to mention his vast holdings in Hughes Aircraft....he was worth billions.
One will left billions to the Mormon Church....but Hughes was not a Mormon. Hughes' considerable business holdings were overseen by a small panel unofficially dubbed "The Mormon Mafia" because of the many Latter-day Saints on the committee. That particular will was found on the desk of an official of the Mormon church....subsequently held invalid.
You of course get the irony of that statement.
Hope it goes just as they predicted in Iowa...Oops!
Insiders: Trump and Clinton Will Carry Iowa

Well, Howard Hughes, with his Acquired Immune Deficiency, figured clean living Mormons would be less likely to bring germs that might kill him.
However, the Mormons here in AZ were not powerful enough to stop Johnny Napalitano from stinking up the governors seat. Women came out in droves and voted for the quasi-woman sinking the Mormon vote and Matt Salmon.
“Hope it goes just as they predicted in Iowa...Oops!”
Let it go, dude. I suspect even after the last primary, there will be people still bringing up Iowa.
“Insiders” are just like a typical LIEberal reporter...they try to shape opinion or be the news rather than taking a measure of what is really happening and have no stand in reality. Trump supporters have nothing more than polls or twitter fits to keep their myth alive.
“The Cruz campaign is taking on water, and the recent firing wonât stop it.”
Exactly and it amplifies what happened in Iowa. Too may “coincidences”.
