In the last two days the following have endorsed Marco Rubio: 2/22 Asa Hutchinson GOV. (R-ARK.) 2/22 Jeff Flake SEN. (R-ARIZ.) 2/22 Thom Tillis SEN. (R-N.C.) 2/22 Gus M. Bilirakis REP. (R-FLA.) 2/22 Jeff Miller REP. (R-FLA.) 2/21 Ileana Ros-Lehtinen REP. (R-FLA.) 2/21 Carlos Curbelo REP. (R-FLA.) 2/21 Mario Diaz-Balart REP. (R-FLA.) 2/21 Mark Amodei REP. (R-NEV.) 2/21 Cresent Hardy REP. (R-NEV.) 2/21 Dean Heller SEN .(R-NEV.)
Me either. In the replies on Twitter, I saw this:
if they try and join forces they will both lose voters because one is RINO other staunch conservative, lose lose for both
This would clear the path for Trump, big time.
The inevitable betrayal from Cruz is coming at some point. He’s not an “outsider”, he just plays one on TV.
All the establishment endorsements he got in SC helped a little, but didn’t alter the outcome by very much, just allowed him to edge out Cruz for 2nd place, which no matter how they try to spin it, isn’t winning.
I think it is too late for this big effort. NV is tomorrow, and Trump is expected to win there. Then next week is contests in 14 states, and the old polls prior to Trump’s big wins in NH and SC and presumably in NV, show that Trump is leading in 10 of those states. New polls, post NH, SC and NV will undoubtedly show his numbers climbing into the 40’s and even 50’s.
If Cruz and Rubio don’t do real well on Super Tuesday, winning 2 or 3 states each as a minimum, their campaigns will be in big big trouble.
After Super Tuesday there are a series of primaries and caucuses on March 5, 6, 8, and 12. Then there are 6 contests on March 15 which are WINNER TAKE ALL. Their campaigns are going to have to have tons of money to compete, and a very fast paced nationwide primary battle. It’s not like they can go and camp out for weeks or months. Cruz looks like he is worried about losing TX as he is planning on spending time campaigning there this week.
There is so much damning information on Rubio, I’m surprised they are trying this....
Why not? Rubio is not a ringer.
Yeah - I saw that too. But there was a short-lived thread on here earlier as well as a very long one talking about them joining forces.
Agreed. Curious what Rubio is trying to promise Cruz though.
If they want Mister Rubio, my suspiciousness RADAR goes on alert.
What we do NOT need is a third party. That would lead to permanent Dem victories.
What we do need is a stem-to-stern cleanup of our GOP, and to throw the RINOS (figuratively) overboard.
.
Let them pile on for Rubio.
Wife and I will sit this one out again.
Better the devil you know(Hillda Beast) then the Devil you don’t know(Rubio)
It does seem now that the GOP-e is “all in” for Marco. I don’t think that Rubio will win the nomination outright, but if there’s enough delegates in his camp that a brokered convention is on the table...
If Cruz supporters jump to Rubio, their claims of being in it for conservatism were false. Rubio is an amnesty pimp, and if they do jump to his side they were for open borders all along.
And we saw how all these endorsements worked out in SC.

Or "Anybody But Trump." Trump is the most unlikable candidate in the history of recording such. He's a nasty guy. Nobody likes him. How many governors, representatives, or senators have endorsed Trump?
Cruz meeting Rubio gives me pause.
What did Rubio offer him? This is shady stuff.
It hurts him with the base and with Trump voters. If these scum bags are supporting you that speaks volumes about you.
Quote:
“How many governors, representatives, or senators have endorsed Trump?”
None I hope.
Cruz will not betray his God or his supporters.
Cruz and Rubio both have the same God and He is not Trump. Both are committed to protecting the life of unborn persons and defending our religious and Constitutional liberties. Both want to change the tax system and reduce the size and power of government.
If Cruz aligns with Rubio in any way, that will tick me off, he will lose my vote and I will vote for Trump. Cruz needs to stay far way from Rubio.
Not a chance in hell of supporting this little weasel. I support Cruz and could support Trump if he doesn’t go a bridge too far, but no way will I vote for the GOPE’s newest punk, the Rube.
