I wonder is Ms Huerta is aware that Cesar Chavez, that worker's rights hombre de valor and heroe of the Latino community was a staunch opponent of illegal immigration.

"That is completely against the spirit of everything that we're working for," Huerta said. You've clearly have the wrong spirit, Huerta.

“I don’t feel that Sanders’ people respect our community.”
Or, maybe it is the non-English speakers who don’t respect the USA enough to learn the language.

So I guess all the Sanders supporters will be supporting Trump in November.

It's long past time for that radical America-hater to pack it in. Go home, Donna.

Or, maybe it is the non-English speakers who don't respect the USA enough to learn the language.I don't respect the French enough to learn theirs. But I'm not working under the table and receiving a supplemental income from the government after sneaking into France, either.

Nor are you trying to vote for someone who is pandering to you to keep your native language and not learn the language of the new host country.

Sounds like the Sanders people didn’t trust her to interpret honestly. I don’t blame them.

In order to vote you have to be a US citizen. In order to become a citizen you have to demonstrate a facility in the use of the English language so why are translators needed?

"That is completely against the spirit of everything that we're working for," Huerta said.Unfortunately for you, ***a de ***a, everything American citizens work for is diametrically opposed.
I soon expect a requirement that fluency in Spanish and a real test IN ENGLISH of American history and culture be strict requirements for eligibility for citizenship.
NO EXCEPTIONS!
Chew on that!

Veteran civil rights leader Dolores Huerta, an avid supporter of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, is accusing Bernie Sanders campaign staffers of preventing her from providing Spanish-language translation to voters who needed it at a Las Vegas caucus location during Saturday's Democratic primary. If any future voters not yet citizens, ever expect to get citizenship, they best start learning English FAST!
Unless Mexican laws change to provide translators for Americans with no fluency in Spanish who wish to become Mexican citizenship...
What? Americans can't get Mexican citizenship?
Seriously?

The path to citizenship proponents list several requirements. We have heard them recite:
Pay a fine
Pay back taxes
Learn English.
If English is a requirement for illegals, should it not be mandatory for voters?

From the Naturalization pages:
“To become a naturalized U.S. citizen, you must pass the naturalization test. At your naturalization interview, you will be required to answer questions about your application and background. You will also take an English and civics test unless you qualify for an exemption or waiver.”
The exemptions or waivers are for those over 50 with 20 years residence or those over 55.
