The U.S.'s largest nurses union has accused Hillary Clinton campaigners of deceiving Democratic voters in Nevada at Saturday's caucuses by wearing red t-shirts that people typically identify with their union. Now the union is suggesting that Senator Bernie Sanders, who it endorsed for president, request U.N. election observers.
Union spokesperson Chuck Idelson said that the red tees were not a first for Clinton supporters and that when nurses attending the caucuses pointed out the Clinton people to the press, they immediately changed back into Clinton campaign blue tees.

Feel The Burn, Bernie.
Not a fan of Clinton. That being said, I don’t wan the UN anywhere NEAR our elections!
UN observers? Good luck with that. Last time
that happened, the observers saw we did not
require voter ID. They said, “You people are
crazy,” packed up, and went back to Europe.
Cheating is in their DNA
Gee, doesn’t that sound like a tactic unions would use?
Maybe not that subtle. Up in the North East at a non-union Boston hospital, they had a billboard truck park across the street from the hospital with a message making readers (patients) think the hospital was involved in deliberate Medicare fraud (they weren’t).
This was after the SEIU said that if the hospital didn’t go union, they would drive a wedge between patients and their physicians at that hospital.
So, Nurses Union...cry me a damned river.
Now that i read it i still don’t understand what the deceit accomplished? The nurses knew their union had endorsed Bernie. I assume T shirts didn’t cause vote changes so what was accomplished?
We here in the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy have been trying to tell you guys about the Clintons since 1992.
Welcome aboard!
What difference does it make.they’re all red.and I’m not talking about the shirts.
All Latin American politicians/parties have the own colors so that illiterate voters know who to vote for. Ballots are color coded as well.
In this case, it’s important to get the colors right (Bernie Red, Hillary Blue) so that illiterate Latino nurses know who to vote for.
I am loving them getting a taste of their own medicine. Sanders deserves the nomination. Clinton will steal it unless she has to bow out due to her scandals hitting the fan.
Hmmmm. I wonder if jimmah cahtah is busy. He could monitor them. Oh, wait. The NV dem caucus already happened. Monday morning monitoring? See, truth is stranger than fiction.
Was it the MGH? Back in the 80’s, there were certainly no unions in Man’s Greatest Hospital.
Back when Bill Clinton first threw his hat in the ring, and I had very little idea who he even was, business contacts from Tennessee, Alabama and nearby states were telling me in unison “oh, no, you do NOT want this guy!”.
Some of them were even Democrats.
In a caucus, you don’t vote, you stand with a group to show your support.
When Iowa caucus goers walked in to a Decmoccrat caucus room, I would imagine there were a couple O’Malley folks. Because he was getting less than 15%, those people had to pick another camp - in this case, either Hill or Bern.
When everyone is in a camp with over 15%, then counts are taken and delegates for that precinct are decided. In this case, they walked in and because of the t-shirt colors, they knew which camp they were going to be counted with - unless there is a group telling you they are x instead of y...I guess...
Okay but you’re counted, aloud? Theres a precinct captain?
I believe it was either Beth Israel or Brigham and Womens.
Scumbag unions, and SEIU is among the worst of the worst.
I know a few Bernie supporters. I keep telling them about Clinton's dirty tricks and how their beloved Democrat party will do whatever is necessary to deny Sanders the nomination. They don't like it, but deep down, they know it's the truth. It's driving them nuts that they can't blame any of this on the mean, evil Republicans, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, or the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
What do they expect. It is the Demoncrap Party after all.
I dunno how they do the counting. I would imagine a rep from each camp has to count so that they agree. Or each participant is given a slip of paper and when the dust settles, they collect the paper and count those as votes.
