Erick Erickson will no longer support Donald Trump if he is the Republican presidential nominee, the conservative pundit declared on Monday, citing in particular the Manhattan businessman's support of Planned Parenthood. "I have become convinced that Donald Trump’s pro-life conversion is a conversion of convenience," he wrote in a post on his website, The Resurgent. "Life is the foremost cause in how I vote. Therefore I will not be voting for Donald Trump at all. Ever."

sigh, it’s get a little frustrating with everyone saying the same thing. Yes, he may have said something about it, he may have had some policy paper, I really don’t know. The problem is I’m not the only one who didn’t know that at the time. Trump talked about it and the entire country focused on it, mexico focused on it and the Pope focused on it. He was able to do what no one else has been able to do and that is make it the focus of the average person. Now, you may hate Trump, you may think he’s a liberal, you may not want to vote for him under any circumstances; I don’t know, and quite frankly I don’t care but you can at least acknowledge that he was able to work the media in a way that made his issues important better than anyone else has done it in quite some time. It doesn’t mean you’re a Trump supporter, it just means you deal in reality.
I am no fan of Erickson, but I am almost on his side with this one. Trump is disastrous for the country. Still, I’ll be forced to vote for the liberal Trump in a general to spite the anti-American, criminal Hillary. Regardless, Trump and Hillary both mean the end of the USA.

Other than his support of liberal democrats Trump, “the deal maker”, hasn’t had the opportunity to do major damage to us yet and I’m not going to be part of giving him an opportunity. Trump has given us no reason to trust him, many reasons to not trust him and if you look up sociopath and narcissism, they frequently go together, you may if your not wearing the “Trump Blinders”, recognize the symptoms.
I, too, will vote for any candidate with a majority of conservative positions, that must include pro-life and pro-2nd amendment, who is running against Clinton or Sanders. I do consider RILOM pro-life to be pro-life, and I do consider open carry and concealed carry to be necessary parts of pro 2nd amendment support.
We will do fine without you.

This is the problem you dogmatic purists have. Your perfect flawless candidate does not exist. The problem for your Conservative Pharisees is you all worship a myth Reagan created in the 1990s by the Conservative Media Establishment.
The Reagan myth runs something like this. Reagan, after beating both Carter and the GOP Political Establishment rode into DC, took off his jacket, rolled up his sleeves , and proceeded to beat the snot out of everyone in DC.
The real Reagan was a much more human, flawed, man. Reagan went to DC and proceed to cut deals with a Democrat Congress to move his political ball down the field. He surrendered on any number of political issues that resulted in the Conservative Media Establishment writing in 1986 about how Reagan had “betrayed the Conservative Movement.”
So even if by some miracle you elect you “Principled Conservative” Cruz, he is going to ride to DC....and cut a whole lot of deals with the Congress to get things done that are going to leave you with a massive case of political purity butt hurt.

I do not agree with Erickson.
There are PLENTY of issues Trump is to the right of Romney on, you do not like him so you have not bothered to research how he stands on the issues, 2 of the biggest issues he is to the right on are immigration, and another HUGE one is trade!! I think that with you folks Reagan could not get elected today by your standards!!!
