It's really a dumb prank no matter how you look at it. Anybody with an ounce of common sense would realize immediately that there is no way that Marco Rubio, or any presidential candidate, would make a derogatory comment about the Bible.
This just makes the perpetrator look petty and childish.
Cruz really needs to get control of his campaign.

Yeah, dirt is not a good thing to dish.
I wonder if Trump has baited Cruz into acting this way. Cruz would have been better off to respond to Trump’s angry tirades with a “bless your heart.”

Cruz is badly damaging himself with his very nasty and untruthful campaign. His campaign manager, Jeff Roe, has a reputation for going nasty and negative so the temperament of Cruzs’ campaign is not a mistake. This is how team Cruz indented to campaign.

Cruz can’t. No one can.He already exhausts all 24 hours being the candidate.

It’s been out of control from the beginning. The photoshopped phony tweet broadcast by Cruz wing-man Beck should have tipped everyone off to the tone of this bunch and to the levels they would stoop to. And this was BECK, not some staffer whose name would not be known by anyone.
