Yeah. An interesting comparison would be to the false story Trump and his campaign spread about Tom Coburn last week. Trump's social media director (Scavino) took a story on a left-wing blog that called Cruz "without a doubt one of the most dishonest people in Washington," and falsely attributed that quote to Coburn. Trump then re-tweeted Scavino's quote, falsely reiterating that the quote had come from Coburn. Then, Trump talked about the story in at least one or two rallies, even after the quote had been debunked.
Did Trump apologize? Nope. Did he fire Scavino (as many seem to think Cruz should)? Nope. They just both quietly deleted the tweets, as if nothing happened.
Very telling. And ironic, since the fake Coburn quote was about Cruz being dishonest.
If there weren’t double standards in politics there would be no standards at all. ;-)
Yeah, double standards, indeed. Cruz does honorable stuff that hurts him, like apologize when he’s wrong, but he’s the supposed dirty liar.
Trump lies and continues the lie after it’s been debunked, and just insults everyone who calls him on it, and he’s the champion of all that’s good.
I don’t even think issues matter anymore to most people here.
Trump is the god of the middle finger,
The patron saint of F*ck You,
and that’s all that seems to matter anymore.
Like I said...Brietbart is campaigning hard for Trump. Brietbart would never report something like this. Instead, it's Cruz bashing 24/7.
Watch for the Brietbart posts. If Cruz sneezes, Brietbart would report Cruz deliberately tried to infect innocent woman and children with what could have been a deadly virus.
