A Florida woman is hospitalized and in a coma after she was allegedly attacked on Valentine's Day by a roommate she had found on Craigslist.
Byron Mitchell, 35, is being held at Metro West Detention Center in Miami on attempted murder charges for his alleged attack on Danielle Jones, 23. Mitchell has entered a written not guilty plea, according to the Associated Press.
Mitchell claims he acted in self-defense after Jones came at him with knife, according to the Miami police report. Jones suffered numerous slashes and bruises in the incident.

Hopefully she recovers so she can receive a full a psych eval as she obviously doesn’t know how to pick associates or friends.

How is Craigslist at fault for this? At some point I presume she met him in person, judged him a suitable roommate and gave him keys to her apartment.

Someone told her we are all the same and have the same code of behavior. If it was her parents,they should be ashamed of themselves for failing to teach her common sense life skills. It may cost her her life, as she joins thousands of other White victims of Black violence.

They can’t teach it in school,
they won’t teach it in college.

She will have scars for life. All to prove to herself and the world how wonderfully “tolerant” she is. She is lucky to be alive.
Yes. Racist as in, “Why didn’t you empty the garbage”, or, “Why don’t you clean up after yourself”.
Maybe she refused his sexual advances (which have NOTHING to do with skin color).
Who knows. Anyone who accepts a roommate off of craigslist needs a stern talking to by their parents.
