Bad audio. Instead of “not many answers in there” - which is unlikely anyone in his right mind would say - Rubester could just as well be saying “a great many answers in there.”
I tried that, substituting better alternatives that match the lip movements. The most realistic pattern I could find was what was reported, and fits much better with obvious distress on the face of the staffer. Normal folks don’t look like that when you’re saying something positive and affirming. Not in my experience.
