I think Rubio will eventually be in 2nd.
Looks like he may eek out 2nd. No matter. I loathe ruB.O.
Rubio might be second
As the vote totals begin to look more and more finalized, it appears Rubio may indeed finish #2. Interesting as SC should have been a Cruz state. A moderate and somewhat conservative have outdistanced Cruz. So much for the man most llike Reagan.
I hate to say it but I think Rubio will finish second
The Establishment has spoken. They will now assign Jeb’s votes to Rubio. I think Jeb will probably endorse him.
Might be 2nd place, 2d...very close.
As long as he stays third or lower, he can claim all the victories he wishes.
Alice Stewart, a Cruz spokeswoman. “If he can’t win here, the question is: how can he win anywhere else?”
Looks like he’s got 2nd place. That’s no good either.
We know where the GOPe will direct Jeb’s support, and it won’t be Cruz or Trump.

Has anyone in U.S. history ever had the financial support, party support, & media support — & lost 1st three states as Marco Rubio has?
In his concession speech, he mentioned "free enterprise."
That's code for Cheap Labor Express.
He didn't mention illegal immigration at all. Not once.
He did, however, heap tons of praise on Yeb and the Bush family.
Is he 2nd or 3rd?
Either way they are damn close so it really doesn’t matter in terms of votes in the end.
Either way I think both over-performed.
He is in 2nd now.
Mario Rubco is the last chance The Cheap Labor Express has to prevent us from electing a President who will stop the illegal alien inundation.
Are you going to be OK with third?
Candidates dropped out since Iowa. Where did their 3%and 4% go? Is anyone picking up a lion’s share of that?
The Cruz campaign made this big deal about a fantastic ground game. Im biased for a ground game and I bought it. But either it is a lie and they dont have a ground game or more likely the campaign staff, appointed campaign volunteer leaders, chairs of the campaign at the state, county and other levels are have no clue how to run a ground game.
It should be noted that the largest conservative training organization, CLI does not understand the ground game and advocates against anything more than a token ground game... last I checked.
I assume Cruz is now calling 3rd place a victory.
But critics - especially the Ted Cruz campaign - suggest that spinning a third-place finish into a “victory” is questionable
So, is Cruz spinning that he won?
Cruz 1st in Iowa, 3rd in NH, and 3rd in SC. NV is next on Tuesday.
Now that Bush has dropped out, Cruz will be in third in most of the primaries from here on out. The GOPe is coalescing around Rubio.
