John King puzzled why Cruz didnt do better in SC with evangelicals. Bad news for Cruz going forward... I believe it's definitely because most southerners are not impressed with Elmer Gantry routines and the injection of too much religion into politics. It's something that can definitely be overdone, and Ted tends to overdo it.

I think Ted’s problem is his advisors. All the negative ads, the Beck association, the Carson fiaso in Iowa. It’s hard to appear like a good Christian when you have the actions of a jerk. I like Ted and don’t know what happened. It’s almost like his advisors want him to lose. He certainly needs to get back on track because he would make excellent VP or future president.
