Rubio scares me more than Cruz. Ted and Trump are in the same boat, hated by the establishment. I do think Ted (because of lack of independent funding and lack of crossover appeal) is easier for the establishment to take out than Rubio.

I would have preferred a two-way Trump Cruz fight with the two making up at the end for a Trump/Cruz ticket. Actually, if Rubio “surges” enough, that might still happen.

It’s a Trump-Rubio race now. The only question now is if Cruz will be the spoiler and peel off enough conservative votes from Trump to give the nom to the GOPe and their golden cabana boy Marco Amnestio.

That analysis, or “hope” for a Trump-Cruz battle alone is exactly what I have been pulling for these last months. They both are very worthy of admiration for separate reasons. I wish they would both be a bit “kinder” in the way they do battle, but I guess that is a senseless desire on my part.
