Donald Trump Lies About Calling George W. Bush a Liar
Politicstick ^ | February 16, 2016 | Matthew K. Burke

During last Saturday night’s GOP debate, Donald Trump joined the likes of radical leftists Code Pink, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Moore, Nancy Pelosi , Harry Reid and Charles Schumer in accusing Republican president George W. Bush administration of knowingly lying about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction (WMD’s), and sending America to war anyway.

“I want to tell you. They lied,” Trump said Saturday night. “They said there were weapons of mass destruction, there were none. And they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction,” he shouted.

Setting aside the inconvenient truth that there is irrefutable evidence that Saddam Hussein used WMD’s on his own people, and that WMD’s were actually found in Iraq and that even the very liberal New York Times admits it, Trump then appeared Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd, and amazingly said that he never called anyone a liar.

“I didn’t call anyone a liar,” Trump lied to Chuck Todd.

Assuming words still have meaning, and assuming that saying someone told that big of a lie means you are calling the person who told repeated lies a liar, then Trump is lying.

Moreover, Trump has repeatedly said that George W. Bush should have been impeached over his supposed “lie,” so he can’t walk it back. If it was simply a mistake by Bush, that wouldn’t be an impeachable offense. But no, Trump said Bush lied.

But Trump wasn’t done.

Having realized his gargantuan flip-flop, going from saying Bush lied to saying he didn’t call anyone a liar, Trump now says that he “doesn’t know” if George W. Bush lied.

Appearing by phone on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday, Trump told George Stephanopoulos his position had changed again.

“I don’t know if he lied or not. I just know that there are no weapons of mass destruction,” Trump said.

So in less than 72 hours, Trump has gone from calling former President of the United States George W. Bush, a fellow Republican no less, a liar, to saying that he didn’t call anyone a liar, to now claiming that he doesn’t know if anyone lied.

Instead of self-funding a presidential run to fuel his oversized ego, perhaps a better investment for Trump would be to invest in a well-qualified psychiatrist.

Either there is a major personality disorder going on here or what you’re looking at is an extremely dishonest person.

It seems to me that Washington, D.C., has no shortage of narcissistic sociopaths and liars. We don’t need another one, especially one of these YUGE proportions.

Like all con men, Donald Trump comes across as authentic and a straight-talker, that he may even believe what he’s saying. But someone who can rapid-fire lies like this in such a short period of time — at the same he’s calling everyone else under the sun liars — is not only extremely disturbing, but is completely unacceptable to anyone coming anywhere near the White House.

The only time Trump’s quotes are allowed to be analyzed is at the exact time he is saying them. The moment he finishes his current sentence, it is no longer fair to hold him to it; it is a lie and mean and dirty and evil to bring up whatever he says after 666 microseconds.

The classified documents detailing an Iraqi approach to purchase yellowcake uranium from Niger were considered dubious by some analysts in U.S. intelligence, according to news accounts. By early 2002, separate investigations by both the CIA and the US State Department had found the documents to be inaccurate. Days before the Iraq invasion, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) voiced serious doubt on the authenticity of the documents to the UN Security Council, judging them counterfeit. In his January 2003 State of the Union speech, U.S. President George W. Bush said, “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.” This single sentence is now known as “the Sixteen Words.” When occupying troops found no evidence of a current nuclear program, the statement and how it came to be in the speech became a focus for critics in Washington and foreign capitals to press the case that the White House manipulated facts to take the United States to war.

Further, in March 2003, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released results of his analysis of the documents. Reportedly, it took IAEA officials only a matter of hours to determine that these documents were fake. Using little more than a Google search, IAEA experts discovered indications of a crude forgery, such as the use of incorrect names of Nigerien officials. As a result, the IAEA reported to the U.N. Security Council that the documents were “in fact not authentic”. The UN spokesman wrote:

The I.A.E.A. was able to review correspondence coming from various bodies of the government of Niger and to compare the form, format, contents and signature of that correspondence with those of the alleged procurement-related documentation. Based on thorough analysis, the I.A.E.A. has concluded, with the concurrence of outside experts, that these documents, which formed the basis for the reports of recent uranium transaction between Iraq and Niger, are in fact not authentic.

In regards to yellowcake from Niger and as part of a nuclear weapons program, this was false, and as it became clear it was false, the lies began. The uranium ore taken out of Iraq in 2008 was absolutely NOT any such yellowcake from Niger, this was stockpiled PRIOR to the FIRST Gulf War and was DECLARED to the International Atomic Energy and under IAEA safeguards. This was removed and eventually shipped to Canada.

There was NO yellowcake nuclear weapons plot using yellowcake from Niger. It started out as “maybe”, as an excuse, then when realized there was no yellowcake, it became a theme to spin and lie about it.

“I didn’t call anyone a liar,” Trump lied to Chuck Todd.

You guys will say anything to mislead the public...Trump did NOT say Bush was a liar, last night...

Todd's question was didn't you call Bush a liar, LAST NIGHT??? And at that town hall, Trump did NOT call Bush a liar...Cooper tried to get Trump to admit that he in the past had called Bush a liar but Trump circled the issue and didn't answer...He certainly did not call Bush a liar, last night...

So your big article here is nothing but misinformation, again...

First let me apologize for being flip, this is serious.

Lets see djt states
“His brother could have made some mistakes with respect to the actual hit because they did know it was coming and George Tenet, the head of the CIA, told them it was coming,”

of course George Tenet in his book says the opposite so he is calling Bush a Liar there

“They lied,” Trump said during the CBS News GOP presidential debate. “They said there were weapons of mass destruction. There were none. And they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction.”

George Bush 2003 We have sources that tell us that Saddam Hussein recently authorized Iraqi field commanders to use chemical weapons — the very weapons the dictator tells us he does not have.”

We’ll find them. It’ll be a matter of time to do so.

George Bush May 3, 2003
(and we did thousands of them)

if you want to play semantics game of who they are.. why not go all the way .. it depends one what is is.

And before you call me a code pink supporter then your wrong.

I support Lt. Col. Matthew model of war , a total war on Islam including using nuclear bombs on mecca and medina with the purpose to cause mass killings of muslims to wipe Islam out with any force necessary .

Also all Muslims should be viewed as enemy combatants like Matthew suggested so there are no civilian casualties when you wipe out cities

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2142634/Join-Forces-Staff-College-taught-officers-wage-Hiroshima-style-war-Muslims.html

http://www.wired.com/2012/05/total-war-islam/

I doubt any code pinker supports that

Here's what Trump told CNN about President Bush back in October 2008 when he was still open about being a Democrat:

"He lied. He got us into the war with lies. And I mean - look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant. And they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying, by saying they had weapons of mass destruction, by saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true."

Remember the USS cole bombing ?

That was a major attack by Bin laden almost a year before 911, There was no excuse for Bush to not take the threat of Bin Laden seriously.

Cia told Bush that a major attack was being planned by Bin Laden but Bush brushed it off.

Did the CIA tell Bush that the attack would be carried out by people that Clinton had already let into the country?
