I was asked about healthcare by Anderson Cooper & have been consistent- I will repeal all of #ObamaCare, including the mandate, period.
I was referring to a backstop for pre-existing conditions. I will eliminate the law, in its entirety, & replace it w/ something much better.
I will replace it with private plans, health savings accounts, & allow purchasing across state lines. Maximum choice & freedom for consumer.
I'm self-funding and I am going to take care of the people – not the special interests and insurance companies like the other candidates.
Remember, Cruz and Bush gave us Roberts who upheld #ObamaCare twice! I am the only one who will #MAKEAMERICAGREATAGAIN!

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Trump gets caught with his own words and positions, his supporters always bring up Cruz. Sorry bud, I read what Trump said. It's clear what he said. Cruz didn't make him say what he said. There is not any candidate running that I'm going to agree with on all issues. But like another poster said, he is finding out that Trump is more to the left that Mitt was And if winning an election was the only criteria on whose the better candidate, well, how's that Obama presidency working out?

Here is the simple fix. Get the government lawyers out of our personal healthcare. All credits to be taken off our income taxes for all health related expenses. This removes the lawyers and government from jacking their extortion fees from the healthcare pie. We save billions and it actually helps people with healthcare problems.

Sorry, but I watched the CNN Town Hall (I may be old, but I recorded it on that DVR-thingy and watched it after I woke from my nap). Trump SAID “I like the mandate.” He (or you) can spin all you want to, but don’t tell me that I was fooled by listening to his words.
If by clarification, you mean self-serving spin why would they report it. It’s not like Trump hasn’t come out in favor of Universal government funded health care recently. why is it such a stretch to believe him and take him at face value when he clearly knows what the mandate is or if he doesn’t he’s too stupid to be President
The beauty about trump taking every position on every issue is that everybody thinks he’s right on all the issues. The bottom line is Trump has come out in favor of universal government-funded mandatory health care in the past so when he says it now believe him you know what they say I guess is when a politician accidentally speaks the truth
