Thanks for both the question and answer I was wondering too.
I’m still wondering when this will occur. When will the case be heard and when will a ruling be given?
Anyone know?

I’ve looked for a docket entry, and have not found one. I waould also like to read the Cruz response. I have sseen the Cruz response and Memorandum of law submitted in the Electoral Board case (below), and am curious what adjustments, if any, were made going to the courthouse.

The Illinois Board of Elections already confirmed Cruz as US citizen. Is that decision being challenged by a higher court? See exerpt from Washington Examiner 2/2/16:
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz secured two major victories Monday, winning the Republican Iowa caucuses and also receiving a favorable decision from the Illinois Board of Elections, which confirmed his U.S. citizenship met the state's primary ballot requirements...

WGN-TV website says "He appealed the decision and was granted a hearing before the Circuit Court of Cook County Friday morning." That narrows down the time window.
