Thank you for the reply. I’m just getting my feet wet here. I read about FR on another blog site and was curious, since I am “conservative”. I am still looking for the “official” definition of that term LOL. I notice that just about everybody here has a different idea of what it is to be conservative. I think I will just keep my mouth shut (or should I mean my fingers?) for now until I get more in tune with the temperaments here. I don’t wanna get “flamed” just yet (hah-hah)
Thank you for doing this poll thing. I will participate when I am able. Unfortunately I can only come here one or two times each week.

Give it a few years and even you and NIKK may be into it over some darn thing, or another! HA! But, all things pass and we’re all friends again,...or not. lol.
We have all been “newbies”, dodge bullets, and somehow emerge with our heads, if we stay. As my husband says, “time wounds all heels”.
About that “conservative” discussion you posited with NIKK, it sounds like the media and the Establishment have stolen the term. There are a cascade of examples where I’m hearing Establishment figures describe themselves as “conservative”. It rolls off their tongue as if saying it is not to be questioned. The media facilitates the ruse.
Words are being co-opted to steal and destroy and it’s epidemic. We are in trouble and political-speak is behind much of it. PC needs the axe.

I believe some country singing gal wrote a song about that:
“Hey, white liar, truth comes out a little at a time. And it spreads just like a fire, spills off of your tongue like turpentine - and I don’t know why, white liar!”
I suppose we could write a similar song about those “establishment” folks! LOL!
Really? I did not know that! We do need a song in our heart once in awhile around here, but will probably have to wait until after the primary, that’s for sure.
