I believe that he is now fully focused on the political mess, he is offering to clean up. Yet, as this has not been his primary focus--only sporadically a focus, before--he is still in a learning phase, and has made some mistakes.
I have not endorsed either Trump or Cruz; but while I believe that both have made mistakes, they seem clearly the "pick of a not so bad litter"; and believe that we need both of their respective camps to beat Gore, Kerry or Biden--or whomever the Democrats finally settle on for November.

Bonus delegates are awarded to states who elect Republican Senators, Republican President Electors, Republican Governors, Republican U.S. House Members, and Republican controlled state Legislatures. |
Just to be clear:
‘Bonus’ delegates have no special status. States allocate their votes in the national convention as they see fit, and they face election like other delegates.
Even each state’s three RNC members’ votes may be determined by state party rules, as can be seen with Iowa and South Carolina.
That's called memebuilding and partisan shilling.
Thanks jjotto.
