U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is 'not Christian' because of his views on immigration, Pope Francis said on his way back to Rome from Mexico. The pope said, however, he did not want to advise American Catholics on whether or not to vote for Trump. In a freewheeling conversation with reporters on his flight back from a visit to Mexico, Francis was asked about Trump and some of his statements, such as vowing to build a wall between the United States and Mexico if he becomes president.

Coming from our Obama Pope this is a seal of approval and badge of honor for Trump.
I am a Catholic and frankly, this is very embarressing.
Americans MUST be attacked from all sides for having the audacity to believe they could chose their own leader.
This Pope has gone too far.
WAY too far.
You are so nuanced at times it is hard to tell what you really think.
So, this pope finds common ground with Muslims whose religion exhorts them to behead, enslave, and rape infidels, but has the nerve to speak for God in declaring who is a Christian on the basis of them wanting to protect their country and its borders. Of course, he’s had nothing to say about all the rapefugees which Europe allowed in, to sodomise little boys and rape women. No words about that, except that he’s all for lettng them inundate Europe to continue their tampage.
He’ll make a great False Prophet.
I didn’t know being a Christian was a requirement to be POTUS.

Christianity doesn’t mean one cannot have a SOVEREIGN nation. A national identity and value of a national citizenship.

I love that. Trump needs to make a deal with the Pope. We won’t build a wall if the vatican agrees to tear theirs down.
As a catholic disgusted with this current Pope....this almost makes me want to join the trump team.
The membership requirements seem to be changing of late.
