” the media is treating Trump with kid gloves.”

They don’t want to be on the receiving end of a Trump counter-punch.

They tried to take him out by all conventional means and found he controlled his own outcomes, not them.
This is unique among anyone in politics in modern times.

I loved Trumps answer to Obama.
Paraphrasing, “President Obama may be the worst President of all time and he should be grateful it was Romney and not me he faced last election because I would have won and Obama would never have gotten a second term”.

Nothing has changed much...NYT 1983

"His alternating skills of charming some individuals and riding roughshod over others has earned Donald Trump a reputation in some quarters as someone not to be trusted. He reneged, for example, on a promise to donate to a museum the Art Deco bas- reliefs on the facade of Bonwit Teller's - bulldozed to make way for Trump Tower. It was a sin deemed unforgivable by landmark preservationists. But the only negative comments about Donald Trump these days are given off the record."

why? might have something to do with lawyers...He thinks suing people is fun.
