The issue that Trump is bringing up here is that the House of Saud is not our friend, any more than Saddam Hussein or Iran are. The House of Saud is the largest funder of mosques in the the world, and are the paymasters of many of the most radical degenerates who preach in those very mosques.
These are fair questions to be asked, because they were never answered effectively. The 9/11 Report, of which is partially the work product of one Jamie Gorelick. With her presence on the committee that wrote it, makes it suspect.
I'm not a 9/11 truther, just observing that; what would the report have concluded were she not there to protect the Clintons and herself? It may very well have reached the same result, or not.

Well said. The Saudis have also been "endowing" many U.S. universities with goodies -- buildings, academic chairs, etc., many predating the 9/11 atrocity, such as the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding mentioned in the article below:

Washington Post, 2005:
Saudi Gives $20 Million to Georgetown

A prominent Saudi businessman said yesterday that he is donating $20 million each to Georgetown and Harvard universities for the study of Islam and the Muslim world as part of his philanthropic efforts to promote interfaith understanding.

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, a member of the Saudi royal family, said in a telephone interview from the Saudi capital of Riyadh that he also has donated $15 million to establish the Middle East's first two centers for American studies, at universities in Beirut and Cairo.

"As you know, since the 9/11 events, the image of Islam has been tarnished in the West," said Alwaleed, who is chairman of the Riyadh-based Kingdom Holding Co. and has extensive business holdings in Europe and the United States.

He said his gifts to Georgetown and Harvard will be used "to teach about the Islamic world to the United States," and the new programs at American University in Beirut and American University in Cairo will "teach the Arab world about the American situation."

The $20 million gift to Georgetown is the second-largest ever received by the Jesuit-run university, school officials said. It will be used to expand the activities of the university's 12-year-old Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding.

"We are deeply honored by Prince Alwaleed's generosity," said a statement from Georgetown President John J. DeGioia, who met Alwaleed Nov. 7 in a Paris hotel to sign documents formalizing the donation.

Alwaleed, a grandson of the Saudi kingdom's founder, King Abdel Aziz, tried to give $10 million to the Twin Towers Fund shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 2001. But then-New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani rejected the donation... [more at link]

Georgetown University and its law school and School of Foreign Service is a feeder for many who work in government in DC, as well as a social and networking hub in the posh Georgetown neighborhood where many lifer politicians such as the Clintons and Marilyn Albright maintain residences. Bill is an alumnus of Georgetown U, if memory serves.

Horribly, one of Georgetown University's part time faculty members, Leslie A. Whittington was killed on American Airlines Flight 77, the 9/11 plane that crashed into the Pentagon, the smoke funnel from which was clearly visible from the upper floors and rooftops of Georgetown University two miles as the crow flies across the Potomac River. Accompanying her on the flight were her husband and their two small daughters. He a software engineer and she an economist in unrelated fields, they appeared to have no political connection to the 9/11 tragedy.

Also on that flight, however, was Barbara Olson, a Republican lawyer, author, congressional investigator and conservative commentator on CNN. Ms Olson was married to Theodore Olson, Solicitor General of the U.S. under George W. Bush (appointed after he had succeeded in arguing Bush's 2000 disputed election results before the Supreme Court). She had been scheduled to travel the previous day, but took Flight 77 instead so she could stay home long enough to wake up with her husband on his birthday, September 11. Ms. Olson had recently been the author of two critical books about the Clintons, Hell to Pay: The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton (1993) and The Final Days: The Last, Desperate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House, which was in the works at the time of the crash and published the following month, October 2001. Both Barbara Olson's death and her relationship with Ted Olson and the Bush Administration have received detailed scrutiny by 9/11 conspiracy theorists.

It is also worth noting that Hillary's closest associate, Huma Abedin, has worked as Hillary's personal aide since 1998. Ms Abedin's family members are long rumored to be involved with Muslim Brotherhood, and Abedin's access in the State Department has figured into the Benghazi inquiries. So while Bush's ties with the Saudis go 'way back, it is also timely to recognize that the Clinton's islamist ties are also part of the picture and may be on Trump's mind as he prepares to do battle against Hillary.

The obvious other reason why Trump may have amassed as much inside information as he could about the 9/11 attacks is that he is a developer of tower buildings in many parts of the world. Certainly the loony claims of Rosie O'Donnell about tower construction would have inflamed him far more than her jibes at his hairstyle and promotion of the Miss Universe pageant.

I think you’re on the money. Trump has inside knowledge on all these people in our country and there’s.

He’s a target.

Has anyone seen the video of the Bugarian president attempted assassination? this could happen here just as easily.

We have suicide bombers. You don’t think they’d love to take out our president and his family?

i tell ya, as a Cruz guy, i passed ground zero for two years and those ##### saudi #####s donated tens of billions to terrorism so they funded that attack and $$$$ them and @#@# GW and I agree with him 100 percent.

Bush was president when it happened. Clinton was at MAJOR fault for it happening, btu THE BUCK STOPS HERE we always say.

if a dem had been pres, I would have slammed him

he took out boys into a war without securing borers, proper vehicles existed to protect against IEDs and it took outrage for him to get them to the forces.

to hell with every bush ever born

and i CANT WAIT till someone smashes the Sauds. give me ten minutes with one of those hypocrite princes to exact some revenge

Still doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t think it takes the inner sanctum of the intelligence community to have an idea that the Saudis and really all of the Arab/Islamic world is fairly screwed up. I think anyone with reasonable intelligence knows that in dealing with that part of the world you’re allegiance with one country for a particular purpose should 1) be tentative and 2) be done knowing that the same country could be your direct adversary in another conflict because these Arabs are nothing if not about conflict layered upon conflict.

Makes sense that Trump’s company would care about this but it certainly not much of a revelation on the political front.

I still want to know what documents Sandy Berger was trying to hide from investigators - hidden in his pants.
