At a Wednesday morning campaign event in Bluffton, SC, Donald Trump takes his relitigation of the Bush administration's record on 9/11 and Iraq to the next level, seeming to imply that we don't currently know who "really" committed the 9/11 attacks.
Trump says if he is elected: "you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center."
"It wasn't the Iraqis," he explained. "You may find it's the Saudis."
"They have papers in there that are very secret," he also said, referencing the 28 still-classified pages of the 9/11 commission report. "But you will find out."

You do realize that the “no fly zone” pre-existed Bush’s term and that the military was enforcing it long before he ever took office, right?
Perhaps, but 9/11 made it a whole lot easier for Bush to sell the idea of the Iraq war to the country.
I'm betting it was financed and planned by the 'out of power' Saud family members.
“I think that Saudi Arabia may have been involved in 9/11. I don’t know for sure.”
Then you are grievously uninformed. Saudi involvement has been a matter of public record since soon after the atrocity.
Trump's core campaign is about pointing out where the fedgov has been failing its citizens, from immigration to one-sided trade deals to national security. To me this discussion of responsibility for 9/11 is consistent with his overall campaign approach.
whatever date I joined, liberal views are liberal views, be it that “neutrality” should be uttered near the word “Israel” or that anyone or thing other than Al Qaeda carried out September 11, 2001.
The best argument anyone has made for Trump’s time machine journey against who? George W. Bush? The Saudis?
But it still doesn’t justify this off the rails behavior.
I think he's not waiting for the obvious gene pool collapse of the Bushies to have its inevitable effect. He's doing a Van Helsing on them.
Your insinuation is that people who have kooky friends are Kooks them self.
So by your “theory”, Scalia must be a kook also because he was friends with Ginsberg.
Is Scalia a kook too or is it just convenient BS used by you bash those you don’t like?
OK. AS long as you saw my /s tag, go for it.
Good point. I was thinking he using this to go after Bush and Clinton but I think you nailed it well.
you are correct.
millions were made by owning puts on airline & insurance company stocks. also shorting stock of these same companies.
SEC, NASDAC, and CBOT according to the "know your customer" rule brokerage firms had to have documentation about the put buyers or short sellers financial capacity to enter those transactions on record prior to executing those trades.
Trade confirmation records must be kept by the brokerage that executed that trades for 5-10 years, so there had to be somebody with insider information identified on those tickets.
so the profits from those trades did not sit around for years only to end up in some unclaimed property fund.
of course this simple solution to "who dun it" was buried along with the 28 pages.
Itâs a conspiracy theory
You've lost yer dam mind.

Yes. Of course. But was Clinton acting on the “no fly zones”? When was the last time before February 16, 2001 that the US had flown an attack? I have always felt that B2 threw a rock at the hornets nest to announce that the administration of B1 was back.
Trump IMO on this point is looking past the primaries to the general.
The GOP has to ditch the entire Bush legacy if they are to move forward. Trump is accomplishing just that. Too bad it wasn’t done in 2012, then we wouldn’t need a Trump this time around.
you are correct.

I agree.
Before long he’ll be saying the bush admin planted bombs because the fire wouldn’t melt the steel. He’ll get there
It's called the Art of the Deal...
