You don’t have to go back to 1999 to discover Trump’s prolific contributions to the Democrats occured during the presidency of George W. Bush and especially during 2006 helping the Democrats take control of Congress. There’s a huge difference between changing your thinking as opposed to dumping the Republican Party because its too conservative for you to join a third party that you quickly dump to join the Democrat Party, which you keep for a decade until you opt for no party at all and then back to Republican in a cynical move to run for the White House. Republican nominees don’t typically call Bill Clinton their favorite President, tweet he’s great in 2012, consult him about running in 2016, and have a history of funding and supporting Hillary Clinton..the Democrat nominee. I had every donation up last night but my thread was pulled for the pictures I linked to of Trump with the Clintons at his 2005 wedding and others with Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Charles Rangel.

Will your conscience still be clear if Trump violates all conservative principles in making “deals” with Congress?

Or will you call him a traitor, despite knowing now that he has a history of supporting liberal causes and politicians?

Sorry, reposting this to make it more readable as FR converted it to HTML:

Had you actually followed the source of this to “The Birther Report”, you would see that 116 pages of documents related to the FOIA request were returned:

For 20 months ending in February 2003, Cruz served as Director of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC. After The Post & Email submitted a FOIA request to the FTC for documents Cruz had signed, agency attorney Anna Murray directed us to 116 pages of documents released in response to a similar request made by a private individual last November. In the documents, Cruz identified himself as “R. Ted Cruz” or “Ted Cruz.”

Show me some proof, ANY proof, that Cruz has deliberately sealed ANY documentation, or stop this nonsense you’ve been posting over and over. Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Cruz has mentioned two names for justices he’d support in his appearances and at the September CNN debate:

Arnold Schwarzenegger funded his own campaign. Did he have a great conservative record in California?

Who has Ted Cruz shown himself to be “beholden to” in his decisions while in the Senate?

I posted the link to 2 articles from different sources that say his citizenship records are sealed. I also have read many times from multiple sources that Obama’s records are sealed. Do you know how to provide proof that they are? Would you know how to go about getting proof? I don’t. There is contact info at the website for TNALC. I guess you could contact them if you have a problem with what they put out and you care enough about it to spend the time on it. I don’t, I’ll take them at their word.

Are you serious!?! I have literally had Trump supporters on this forum tell me they “do not care.” Trumpkins don’t care about his record as a Democrat, don’t care about his liberal positions, and have developed a cult of personality around a celebrity with the promise of “change” without calling it hope and change. He has tge Narcissist-in-Chief down pat. Let’s get real here: your candidate made it an issue that he has great relationships with Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer...the Democrat establishment...the same establishment that’s pushed through the Obama Agenda.

It’s less than half of what he gave to Republicans, and doesn’t count the yuge donations to veterans.

You didn’t post two different sources - those two “articles” (blogs) literally have the SAME sentence copied-and-pasted from one to the other. And they provide precisely zero evidence to back up any of these claims.

The source that they rely on - The Birther Report - does NOT say his records were sealed. It does say they were unable to obtain some information that was PII (personally identifiable information) - but that doesn’t mean Ted sealed anything.

Continue taking them at their word and not doing your own research, because it suits your agenda. It just makes you all the less intellectually honest.

CRUZ: Go ahead and sue. I look forward to getting Trump under oath. It didn’t work out well for Bill Clinton.

Wouldn’t a deposition be fun. LOL

Cuz or NY loser!

I’m a Cruz fan, but the truth is as a businessman you donate to your local politicians regardless of political affiliation. Trump lived and did business in deep blue NY, so he gave money to a bunch of bad dems - it is sadly the cost of doing business in a country/state/city where government is way too powerful. The things he has said in the past are more legitimate issues than the donations.

Predictable deception by Ted Cruz.. Notice he didn’t include the donations to Republican and Independents.....including himself.... Trump donates $5000.00 to Ted Cruz

Not up until 5 years ago:

http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2015/07/28/426888268/donald-trumps-flipping-political-donations

Up until then, he gave overwhelmingly to democrats. What changed? Oh yea, he started talking about running for president.

Sorry, but I disagree.

A person of principle wouldn’t donate to someone they disagree with - who will work against their principles - in order to make money.

What this tells me is that he’s either a conservative who lacks integrity, or not a conservative at all.

Neither of which is someone I want to vote for.

-— Ted was doing alright while he was on message he does not need this crap -—

Trump’s campaign consists of baseless negative attacks.

And his supporters want Cruz to stop fact-based attacks?

It’s a two-way street.

It’s time the real estate guy learned that.

My conscience will be clear for the reasons I stated. I don’t think Trump is going to “violate all conservative principle” - it’s the Democrat who will do that, which is precicely why I want a Republican that will win in November.

Cruz is a better spokesman for conservative principles, and I have no doubt he would act from those principles as President. The problem is that he comes off way too preachy and there is an ick factor - he has no chance of becoming president unless he gets picked as VP, which has now become very unlikely.

On top of that, I just happen to believe despite past positions and quotes, Trump will defend 2nd amendment, pro life, restore some competition and sanity to the economy and to fiscal policy, build up the defense, restore some sanity to rules of engagement and foriegn policy. He won’t necessarily do these things out of principle, or be as conservative as Cruz, but I don’t care because Cruz can’t win and Trump will be a hell of a lot better than any Democrat. At some point I’d love to have another RR, but ther aren’t any running.

Wrongo.

I believe that Canada exists.

It is north of the United States.

The longest border in the world is between Canada and the United States.

Oh, Canada is the National anthem.

Cruz was born there to an American mother. He is a natural born citizen.
