A new CNN/ORC poll in Nevada, where the low-turnout caucus is notoriously difficult to study, seems to confirm what strategists have been whispering about for weeks. Hillary Clinton is functionally tied with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), while Donald Trump -- whose 64-story eponymous hotel towers over the Las Vegas skyline -- holds a commanding lead in the Republican race.
The poll, conducted entirely since Sanders and Trump won landslide victories in New Hampshire, included interviews with just 245 likely Republican caucus-goers and 282 likely Democratic caucus-goers. It finds Clinton up 48-47 over Sanders, with a 3 percent margin of error.

The Republican side of the poll is, remarkably, the first look at that race by a news organization's pollster since the last CNN/ORC poll in October. It finds Donald Trump leading the field with 45 percent, up seven points since last year, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) have climbed from single digits to 19 percent and 17 percent respectively.

Trump vs. Bernie. Will be worth it just to watch all the establishment pigs dropping over with coronaries.
I suspect that most folks, across the political spectrum, whose memories go back to the bad ol' days when America was still a free land of opportunity, embrace that thought.
Hillary is in deep trouble.
Half of Democrats don’t want her.
That’s not a recipe for success in November.
Do headline writers know what the word “deadlocked” means?
Because in this case it’s just a virtual tie, not a “deadlock.”
We know the DNC wants her out of the race, but what is the price going to be? I think Hillary is in this to the bitter end. If they try to pull the plug on her campaign she and Bill will unleash their venom and it becomes mutual destruction. Yeah, I’d say the Dems have quite a mess on their hands.
The next 6 weeks will be the end of the Cruz campaign as states all fall to Trump. I expect the few dozen spammer\Cruz Supporters on here to become more angry, strident and hateful as Cruz’s campaign slips into the history books. Besides Texas, Cruz is done. He has has been out on the stump preaching to the choir, and I kind of admire his resolve to go down in flames. America is just not a further to the right country anymore, cetainly not like it was in 1980. Trump is coming off not as a ideologue like Cruz is. Cruz seems to be parroting what conservative talk radio wants him to say, Uncle Levin and the purists would rather have Hillary and have their ideological purity intact. Fine Levin you can have your purity and shout down to us vacillating dolts from your John Birch mountaintop, live in your fantasyland where a plurality of Americans want it like it was in 1776, 1865 or even 1980. They don’t. We have to chip away specks at a time , not take great swings with a sledgehammer.
Rubio snuck into second place.
The Dems, on the other hand, are requiring their voters to stay for 3 or 4 hours. You must stay the entire time in order to cast your vote.
The Republican way is the reason I'll go to the caucus and vote.
Nevada is a caucus state.
Does anyone have legit information on how they run their compared to Iowa?
The Clintoons own the DNC. They only reason they are afloat right now is because of Clintoon.
Cruznadian heads exploding everywhere.
Nevada GOP requires advanced registration and photo ID.
The Democrats have same day registration. I suggest looking at a map to see how that's going to go.
