One of the most annoying things about Cruz supporters is their pearl clutching hyperbole.

What happens as a result is that, even when they catch a mistake by Trump or Rubio or whoever, they go into such a frenzy of desperation to be able to point at anyone else and say “LOOK THEY ARE LYING TOO SO IT’S OK TED LIES”, that they just end up lying more.

Trump retweeted a tweet that was fake or wrong. That’s his mistake and he should own it. However, that is not “TRUMP IS MAKING UP QUOTES ABOUT PEOPLE”. It’s Trump not verifying crap before retweeting, but no matter how badly you want it to be “making up quotes”, it isn’t. Learn how the internet works.
